Chapter 13

Kassidy's POV

*The Next Day*

I looked in the mirror still thinking I don't look presentable

"Are you sure I look fine? I asked. Mallory, Kayla and Sophie stared at me.

"You look perfect don't worry." Kayla said going on her phone.

I looked down at my outfit jean shorts, red flannel and white tank top.

I was going on a date with Shawn. Nervous is an understatement of how I feel.

The girls picked out my outfit because they know what were doing.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by a knock on the door.

Sophie ran and answered it.

"Is Kass here?" Shawn asked.

"No proper manners" Sophie said.

I then walked out the door before they could say anything else.

Walking down the hallway I heard Kayla scream.

"Don't run her into a pole, Mendes." I laughed.

Down the road a little but Shawn stopped and blindfolded me.

"Seriously not this again." I said waving my hands In front of me.

"Don't worry I got you." He said starting to walk and guiding me.

"You said that last time."

"It's not going to happen this time." He said stopping.

Shawn removed my blindfold.

I looked at the big yellow M in front of me.

"We back tracked, really?" I said.

Shawn laughed.

"So what do you have planned then?" I asked.

Just then Johnson walked out of the hotel carrying two nerf guns.

I smiled "How did you know?" I asked taking the nerf gun from Johnson.

"Sophie told me."

We then casually walked to McDonalds. Once inside we got to our bases and the war began.

Shawn shot his nurf gun trying to aim for me but instead he shot a 5 year old in the head. The kid burst into tears and it looked like Shawn was going to start crying at any moment. Shawn jumped out from his base to comfort the kid.

I took this opportunity to shoot him. I aimed and hit him. He gave me a clearly unimpressed looked.

Shawn was back behind his base in an instant, he went to shoot me but he ended up shooting an elderly lady.

The lady looked at him and started beating him with her purse.

The green giant is getting beaten up by an old lady everyone.

Just then the manager came out from behind the counter.

"I'll have to ask you two to leave." The manager said.

I stared at her blankly.

"If you don't leave I'll have to call the cops." She continued.

I looked at Shawn then wrose my arm up slowly.

"Say hello to my little friend." I said with an evil smile.

I shot the nerf gun hitting her right in the forehead. Shooting Kayla on the forehead really paid off.

"That's it I'm calling the cops." She said through clenched teeth.

She picked up the phone and hit a number on the keypad.

I looked at Shawn.

"She has the cops on speed dial. How much trouble happens in McDonalds?" I asked him.

"I have no clue but we should get out of here." Shawn said walking towards the front door.

"C'mon let's have fun getting out." I said walking behind the counter.

"What are you doing?" Shawn questioned.

"Climbing out the drive-through window." I said opening the window, looking both ways being the cautious person I am.

I then started climbing out the window. I lost my grip and fell.

"Ow, cement hurts." I said stating the obvious.

Shawn laughed then climbed out.

"Atta be, Giraffe." I said clapping.

Shawn's POV

I laughed at Kass, grabbing her hand and walking back across the street to the hotel.

Before we could make it to the hotel the cops showed up,

"Excuse me but have you seen two teens with nerd guns back in McDonalds?" One of the cops asked.

"No sir." I answered politely.

Thank god we ditched our nerf guns back in McDonalds.

"Ok thank you for your time." The cop said walking off to McDonalds.

We continued to walk to the hotel and walked up to the room. I got a text saying everyone was in Nash and Cam's room. Typical.

When we walked in everyone stared at us.

"Well, nice to see your conscious." Kayla said.

"KAYLA!" Kassidy yelled.

"Well, sorry but I didn't know if you were going to come through that door half dead." Kayla said.

"Hallway, NOW." Kass said starting to get mad.

Kayla got up followed by Kassidy.

"You weren't joking when you said she has anger issues." Jack G said.

"Its probably not that Kayla is just really overprotective." Sophie said.

"That's why I love her." Nash mumbled, but everyone heard and stared at him wide eyed.
