Chapter 13 : New powers

When Billy and Johnny got home jade was sitting on the couch and she was mad. Johnny walked up to her and tried to kiss her but , she pulled back. "Hey babe what's a matter ?" She tears up . "My mom is making me take the internship ."

Johnny comforts her . He signs. "It will be alright. "She nods and hugs him. They all get settled for bed and order a pizza. As they eat Johnny uses his new super breath to cool down his pizza . Billy notices . "Oi you made that ability yourself ." Johnny mouths. Yeah Dad , it was cool jade helped me. Billy smiles ." Well I guess you're making progress. "Johnny mouths. I have a long way to go before I'm on Homelander's level."

They both agreed. Billy as usual hands johnny money hugs him , and leaves. Jade and johnny head to bed and begin to talk. Jade rubs his cheek . "I know it's hard to have someone not understand you, but maybe one day the broken pieces can fixed with something new." Johnny kisse her .

The kiss turned passionate and before they knew they making love. The next day as johnny was preparing he reached for his toothbrush and lightning shot out of his hands he was kinda of freaked out. Jade comes running in ." Babe what's wrong ?" Johnny points at his hand . She comforts him. "You're getting new powers . He chills and smiles . They hug and go make breakfast.

Soon After...

The Seven were having a meeting . Homelander reveals that Billy and his team are the ones trying to take down The seven . "Starlight here has been fucking Hughie Campill in return she's been pumping him with infomation . Starlight get defensive ."woah hey now-!" Homelander's eyes glow. "Hands by your side missy." Maeve steps in and defends her in return Homelander leaves the manner alone . Homelander glances out the window and remembers." William Butcher has an son maybe I have to visit him."

Later...

Johnny was walking out of school and half a mile he hears Homelander land behind him. "What are you doing here?" Homelander smirks . "Just wanna talk ." He yanks johnny and flies into the air and lands on a building .

" Now Dollface I want you to tell your daddy to stay out of my way if you know it's good for him." Johnny glares . "Don't call me that , and My Dad is a grown man he would'nt listen to me anyhow."He mouths Homelander grabs Johnny .

"Fine , then this if you don't warn him then you'll pay the price,kiddo."Johnny tries to get away but Homelander grip tightens." You know kiddo due to you being  a mute no one would here scream and that means I can take as much time with you as I possibly can." Johnny tears up .

Homelander smiles." Now run along and do your homework or make out with your girlfriend I don't care ." Johnny turns to leave before Homelander grabs his face and runs his thumb on johnny's cheek.

"I mean it kid ,I would'nt want to mess up this handsome face of yours." Johnny gets uncomfortable ." Don't touch me , and I'll tell him." He mouths . Homelander smiles and flies off . Johnny pulls out his phone. He texts Billy.

Hey Bumble bee how was school ? - Billy

Johnny texts back .

Dad, Homelander he harrassed me and threaten me !!!

With that Billy rushed home. He finds johnny crying and hiding . He hugs him and comforts him. "It's ok lad Dads here now tell me what told you . Johnny signs. "He said that he knew we were the one who attacked the seven and warn you if you did'nt stoo something was gonna happend ."

Billy rubs his hair ." It's bumblebee nothin not going to happen to me ok ?" Johnny nods . They go down stairs and Jade is making dinner . "Eveything ok ?" Billy pulls her to the side . "Jade lass, make sure you keep an eye on him at all times and anything suspicous you call me I have to go ."
