The elevator descends slowly to the next floor, the hum of machinery the only sound breaking the silence. Inside are Astro, Boxten, Brightney, Cosmo, Finn, Flutter, Gigi, Glisten, Goob, Pebble, Poppy, Razzle along with Dazzle, Rodger, Scraps, Shelly, Shrimpo, Sprout, Teagan, Tisha, Toodles, and Vee. The elevator is quite crowded today- I'm surprised everyone made it!
Astro yawned wearily; he didn't really want to be there, but felt a strong need to be present. He just had to be.
"You alright, buddy?" Astro jumped a bit a he turned to see who was speaking. "I asked if you're okay, Astro," Vee said.
"Y-Yeah, just-" He yawned. "-a bit tired." Astro rubbed his eyes, fighting to stay awake. "You know, you could have stayed in your room. It wouldn't have been a big deal," Vee replied. "No, I need to be here," Astro insisted. "I just have to be."
Vee shrugged. "Whatever you say, Astro. If you need to talk, I'm always here." Astro nodded; he knew it was going to be a long day. The elevator doors opened.
