Sunghoon sat in the corner of the dimly lit practice room, the mirrored walls reflecting a distorted version of himself.

The laughter and energy of his fellow members filled the air, but he felt miles away.

For some reason, he felt alone.

Each note they sang seemed to amplify the emptiness within him, echoing in the corners of his mind.

For weeks, the weight his chest had grown heavier. The pressures of fame, the constant comparisons, and the expectations of being perfect in the eyes of the world were suffocating.

Sunghoon had always prided himself on his ability to perform under pressure, but now, every dance step felt like a reminder of his failures.

The once vibrant joy he found in music had faded, replaced by an overwhelming sense of despair.

"Sunghoon! Come on! You're up next!" He heard Heeseung's voice, but it felt distant, like a whisper carried away by the wind.

Sunghoon quickly forced a smile, nodding as he got up to join the others, but inside, he was crumbling to pieces.

The practice routine felt endless, and each moment of spotlight that should have brought him joy only deepened his sorrow.

His heart raced, not from excitement but from the crippling anxiety that gnawed at him.

As they practiced their choreography, Sunghoon stumbled through the moves, his mind elsewhere, trapped in a spiral of self-loathing and doubt.

He got lost in his thoughts. "Why can't you do a simple dance right?" "Why are you so useless?"

"Hyung, are you okay?" Jungwon's voice broke through the haze, concern etched on his young face. Sunghoon met his gaze, forcing his smile wider, but the mask was cracking. "Yeah, just tired," he lied, brushing off the worry that hung in the air.

He hated lying to his members, but he also hated worrying them.

They finished practice, and the members scattered their separate corners, chatting and laughing.

Sunghoon lingered, the laughter feeling foreign. He grabbed his bag and left the practice room, the sound of their camaraderie fading behind him.

He wandered the hallways of their dorm, the sterile white walls closing in on him. He wanted to scream, to break something, to make the pain stop. His thoughts turned darker and darker as he made his way to his room. It was a space that once felt like home, but now it was just a prison.

Sitting on his bed, he felt the darkness creeping in, curling around him like a suffocating blanket.

What was the point? The question echoed in his mind, louder than any cheer he'd ever received.

He picked up his phone, scrolling through messages and social media, each notification serving as a reminder of the happiness he couldn't grasp.

Just then, there was a knock on the door.

Sunghoon quickly wiped his eyes, trying to compose himself. "Come in."

Sunoo entered, his expression brightening the room.
