Chapter 3

  We arrived at the mall and as Lux said. She spoiled me with everything I wanted, we played games and also had ice cream. After she drove each one of us back to their respective homes.

Lux took me home and mom was happy to see her after a long time since she was always busy working yet still in school. We found folk and his friends at home but I didn't care much I just went upstairs to my room.

As time passed after Lux caught up with Mom, she decided to bid farewell to me. she came to my room while I was trying to look for  a school I would transfer into when I left. I closed my laptop quickly and turned my attention to her she hugged me and said bye to me I walked her to her car and said I am really going to miss you sis.

Lux assured me that only  one call and she will always be at my service. She got into her car and drove away but before she did ,I was invited to a one week vacation after the school closure at their farm house and I said yes and she also allowed me to invite my friends.

I went back inside and I told Dad about it and he said they will all be going coz it's family friends get together so I asked even uncle Malisorn will be there to which he nodded.

Uncle Malisorn is very charming he calls me his little girlfriend. Most of the time we bond together in our own world. We have the same hobbies like car races, tennis but mostly annoying the people around us hehehe. So with him on vacation it will be really nice.

Best farewell ever I shouted going to my room.I was starting to doze off when I had a knock on my door.come in ...hi ..it was Faye I sat up and asked her how I would be if any help to her.

Faye:Are you avoiding us ?
Yoko:As in?
Faye: Come on Yoko don't play dumb I know you're better than this.
Yoko:Okay, No am not.
Faye:You think I am a fool. I feel it. It's like you're slipping away from my hands and even though I am fighting hard to hold you I have already lost you.
Yoko:I could see Faye struggling to hold her tears that were trying to escape...Faye listen I just want you guys to focus on your exams because it's your last year in college. I..I..I don't want to be blamed for your poor performances so that's it .
Faye:So you heard everything folk said that day. You all think we also blame you.But I always rank the top of my class while still hanging out with you guys. I don't think you are avoiding us I think you're killing us.
You don't know this yoko but you make me feel vulnerable when it comes to you. I can't concentrate when I see that your smile is not reaching your eyes. I feel jealous every time I see you smiling at someone who is not me being touched by someone who is not me I just can't take it. I know you're still young but at least I wanted you to know I am attracted to you not as a friend but as a woman. I like you Yoko no am madly in love with you.
Yoko:Huh Faye,your folk's friend how can we ...I mean... I don't even know what to say.
Faye :You don't have to say anything, about folk am his friend because I wanted to get to you soo what do you say I can wait for you to feel the same hmmm.
Yoko:Even if I take 5 years.Will you wait.Even if we lose contact with each other will you wait for me .
Faye :Be it 5 or more I will wait.I will just make a lot of money so that by the time you accept me I can spoil you with everything you want.
Yoko:But wat if I don't love you back wat will you do.
Faye:Then I won't love anyone else.
Yoko:But am leaving the country Faye am gonna study abroad starting next year.
Faye:What? Your kidding . Tell me it's a joke Yoko.
Yoko:It's not just a joke I want to experience a life without being spoiled.Am thinking of moving in one of the dorms at the school I will transfer to and start working part time jobs. I can do it I know it might take tolls on me but I will fight till the end.
Faye:Y,what forced you to decide that you can do that here please don't leave me alone I don't know what I will do without you here.
Yoko:Am a threat to folk. He thinks our parents can't see his efforts coz am excellent in my studies compared to him.He thinks Dad might not give him anything and his scared. He takes me to be his competitor not his sister so if I leave our parents will see him, he won't have to fake loving me and also for me am not interested in my parents money if they were able to make it i can also make my own money. So Faye will you wait for me until then ?

I looked directly in her eyes and could see tears rolling down her checks. She hugged me.Thats all I wanted for someone to understand me, someone to listen not to judge me, not to look at me with pity but encouragement and that's exactly what Faye did.

Rubbing my back she said I will wait for you to become what you want. Always know that am your number one supporter always. Am always here when you need a shoulder to cry on and I will look out for your friends when you're not around.

I love you woman... And I will surely marry you some day.
