Zombie On Trial

chapter one: in the begining

The minute Melissa saw the advert for the medical trial she knew that the money given for completing it could change her life. Immediately she entered her email address and other various contact information into the trial form. Melissa always loved helping people where ever she could, like the dog she saved from a bramble bush for her neighbour Suzie, and getting groceries for Mr Locknal down the street when he'd broken his ankle doing god knows what. This money would change her life, she never exactly had a great start to life and sure as hell experienced more than enough for 2 lifetimes let alone the 20 years shes been living already.

Two weeks went by and she hadnt heard anything not even a whisper from the trial team.
*ding*
"Finally!!!" screaming as she read the first few lines of the email. " youve been accepted into a prestigious program dedicated to helping the people that have lost hope, we hope you will join us in this new age of medical technology..." 
BANG
All the hairs on Melissa's body stood to attention, placing her phone down extremely quietly as she tried to make her way to the front door. Three tall men stood with long black trench coats on stood tall, almost proud of their presence. Reluctanly she opened the door.

"Hello? can i help you?" her voice booming with confidence
"Hi Melissa, im Dr Freiner, were here for the contract signing"

Melissa stood tall but Gaurding Herself. "contract signing?"
"for the the medical trial ma'am"
This was it the moment shes been waiting for, for almost a month, i mean yeah she'll be putting herself throught hell but it'll pay off in the end right?

20 minutes go by of useless conversation before melissa is handed 3 pieces of paper, all stampted with a red seal. " so all i need to do is sign these and then i can do the trial?" slightly amused by the question Dr freiner just nods. Several minutes goes by.."And.. done, now what?" lifting the pen off the paper and handing it back to the Dr with a large grin on her face. As she looks up she realies that all three of the men have gas masks on.. 

'"hey! whats going on?" Melissa starts to panic, trying to sprint to the door when she gets dragged back to the kitchen by the wrist.She thorws her body at teh guard knocking him onto the floor with a heavy thump. " HEY get back here!!" she confinued running through the house throwing anything she coud find at the gaurd. sickeningly he grabs her by the throat and throws her down a flight of stairs. Hitting her head pretty hard on the old wood floor" oh calm down, youll be fine" Dr freiner said menacingly before everything faded to black...
