A new school year was starting in Hollywood Hills High School. Ally Hills studied there since pre-school, and now 10th grade was starting. She didn't like studying and waking up early, but she wanted to see all her friends, especially his best friend Danny Padilla.
The first day of classes:
Alarm clock sounds, that means time to go to school. Ally was so nervous and anxious. Also, she had a feeling that something good was gonna happen. She was thinking while getting read when she heard..
Helen: Allyyy hurry up, you'll be late.
Ally: I'm going mom. I'm already done
Helen: Have a great day
(Ally just smile and walk to the bus station)
8:00 am, bell rings:
Ally was running while thinking she was late for first day of school, but then his best friend Danny Padilla found her, and they walk together to class.
Danny: are you ready Ally? A new year! Maybe this time you can agree on going out with me.
Ally: Mmm. NOPE. You know I like girls. We don't need to continue talking about this.
Danny: Well, then maybe is a lucky year and we both can find a pretty girl.
They continued talking for a while, ignoring that all their friends were in the same class. Then the teacher stand-up and start introducing himself.
Mr. Evans: Hi everyone I am Mr. Evans and I will be your tutor this year. I know that most of you know each other from past years. There is only one new student that I want to introduce you.
Stevie? Stevie Boebi? where are you?
Stevie raised her hand and made a shy smile.
Mr. Evans: Can you introduce yourself briefly?
Stevie: Hi I am Stevie Boebi, I just moved to California from Louisiana.
Mr. Evans: Thankyou Stevie.
When Stevie started talking, and Ally turned around to see the new girl, she could only be thinking on how gorgeous she was and how she was going to introduce herself later. She wanted to know more about this girl.
The hours passed and it was lunch time.
Ally stand up and started walking to the cafeteria with his friend Danny. At that moment, her friends Ali Spagnola, Stephanie Frosch and Bria Kam walked through them and started talking of the expectations on the new year.
When they get to the cafeteria all of them choose a table and started talking about the new girl.
Ali Spags: Soo, what do you think of the new girl? Any comments?
Steph: She is pretty and seemed a little shy.
Danny: I think she is really pretty
Bria: Well is her first day, she is definitely shy, everyone is new for her.
(Ally wasn't paying attention, this Stevie girl had blown her mind). They all were looking at the main door when Stevie started walking on the cafeteria. Ally thought, should I tell her to sit with us? Maybe she thinks I'm weird. Who cares, I'll do it.
Ally stand-up and walk to where she was.
Ally: Hi, you are Stevie right? We are in the same class. I'm Ally.
Stevie: Oh, hi, nice to meet you.
Ally: Do you want to eat lunch with my friends and me?
Stevie: Sure, thank you. Being the new girl sucks.
In the table:
Ally: Hey guys, this is Stevie she will take lunch with us
All: Hi Stevie
Stevie waved her hand and sit down.
All of them where talking, but Stevie wasn't connected to the world. She was thinking how she hated to be the new student and how nervous she was that someone find out she was gay. In Louisiana, people had been rude to her. She told her best friend back then that she was a lesbian. Her friend takes it badly and told everyone in school. She started to get bullied. She does receive some support, but this people was scared that the bullies will attack them too.
Ally noticed Stevie was like in her world. So she decided she was going to talk just to her, maybe she was feeling uncomfortable cause she knew nobody.
Ally: So how is your day going?
Stevie: It is ok I guess. Just need to get used to this new school.
Ally: You will, don't worry.
They continue talking until the bell rang and they walked through class.
Mr. Fritz: Hi guys, I am Mr. Fritz and I will teach you this year the course of history. So, let's start. I want you to do this homework in pairs for next Monday. I want you to choose one city from the US and tell us a little bit about its history. You can choose who you want to work with.
Danny: Hey Ally we are working together right?
Ally: I'm going to ask Stevie if she want to work with me cause she is new- she whispered
Danny: Oh ok.
Danny: Hey Spaaags, wanna work with me?
Spags: We are now a team my friend.
Ally turned around where Stevie was.
Ally: Wanna work with me?
Stevie: I'm sure Danny asked you to work with him
Ally: Well, he did. But look he is working with Ali Spags is all right.
Stevie: ok, let's work together.
Bell rang: time to go home
Ally: I should give you my number for planning homework
Stevie: Yes, add yourself. - Gave her iphone.
Ally: Done, text me to add you. I'll see you tomorrow. Bye
Stevie: Bye Ally.
In the afternoon:
Stevie arrives home and her brother Clay was already there.
Clay: How was your first day?
Stevie: it wasn't that bad. A... (She was going to tell Clay about Ally, who had been nice to her, but she prefered to keep it as a secret)
Clay: A.. What?
Stevie: No, nothing. I was thinking.
Stevie went to her room, pick up her phone and decided to text Ally.
Stevie: Hey Ally. Is Stevie Boebi
Ally: Oh Hi Stevie. I'll add you to my contacts.
Stevie: Well, about the homework.. Wanna come to my house on Friday to do it?
Ally: Sure, give me the address and I'll be there.
Stevie gave Ally her address, but right after that she decided to say she gotta go. She was thinking so much in how kind was this girl and also, that she was gorgeous. She said out loud. "Stop Stevie, you just moved here. We don't want any trouble. Just concentrate in other thing."
Ally couldn't stop thinking how quickly Stevie said goodbye. There were a lot of possible answers on her mind. She just wanted Stevie to like her. Not as a girlfriend, just as a friends (for the moment). She will wait until the next day to talk to her. Also, she thought "I woke up feeling something good was going to happen. Meeting Stevie was something really nice. Today I am wearing my lucky pair of socks, the one of the ghosts, must be that".
