After my first encounter with one of the preps for the year of 2012, i couldn't afford another one. I spotted my friend Ashley by our lockers. I ran up to her and greeted her with a hug and a hello. She replied, " Hey, I missed you so much!", she was soon cut off bye a kiss from her boyfriend Jake. I said hello, and shooed him away. I feel kind of sad when Jake is around, due to the fact that he is my ex- boyfriend. I held back the jealousy, and finished talking to Ashley. I noticed that the bell was ringing we both darted to our designated classrooms. After my first 3 classes i went to my locker during switchover, in which we switch out our books,and rushed to Mr. Oblique's class for french. He greeted us with a hello and how are you in french. To my surprise he was asking us to repeat what we had learned last week on our basic french problems. Sadly i sat in the first row. There I sat shaking with fear,facing the reality of being next. Mr.Obliques screaming brought me back to the real world. He asked me to say Help and Leave Me Alone in french. Following my instinct, I repeated it with a french accent. As to no surprise i was laughed at, i went into a daydream dreaming that i was sleeping in silk sheets with the smell of lavender, sooner than later i woke up and came back to reality by time the laughing was finished, class was ending. I rushed out to my locker to meet Ashley before lunch. Sadly she was at lunch already, but i bumped into Jake. I blushed and gazed into his eyes as he talked to me. I went into yet another daydream about me and him walking through the park. My fantasy was interrupted by the sudden present of his girlfriend,my best friend, Ashley. She greeted me with a "Hello There". I replied " Where Were You"?. Ashley quickly responded " In the Bathroom" and "Lets Go I'm Starving" We walked away to the cafe. After a few minutes of waiting in line we arrived at the lunch bar. I got a grilled chicken salad with no tomatoes and ranch dressing , Ashley got a turkey and cheese wrap, Jake just took a iced tea. We made our way over to a empty table in the corner of the room. We all sat down and started to eat our lunches. To start a conversation to break the awkwardness of Ashley and Jake kissing, I asked " Ashley, how are you doing in your french class"? She replied somewhat with an attitude " Well I'm doing a great." I mumbled under my breath " Why did you have to respond so rudely"? She responded " Well if you would stop trying to intrude on me and Jake's relationship I wouldn't have to respond so rudely"! Trying to fight back tears because she knew I would never intrude in her relationship, I got up from the table grabbing my books and bag. Ashley said, " Wait!, I didn't mean it like that". I ran from the Cafeteria into the bathroom and into a stall. For 10 long and painful minutes, I cried and thought about does she really think I am trying to intrude on their relationship? . Then, I thought of Jake and I in our previous relationship. My daydream was soon interupted by the patter of feet. I peeked under the stall door and saw a pair of boots that only one person would wear, it was Ashley. She knocked on the stall and said " Listen Becca, I am so sorry for what I said, please talk to me. I slowly opened the door and let Ashley in. She sat on the floor and gave me a hug . She said " Becca, I never wanted to make you feel like you were intruding in our relationship". I smiled and hugged her back. We both go up from off the floor, and walked to our lockers. I gathered my belongings for Trig, Home EC and PE. As soon as I closed my locker I saw Jake coming I pretended I didn't see or hear him by putting in my headphones in and getting on Instagram. After a few minutes went by I looked up to see if Jake was still there, While looking he gazed at me and we both stared each other in the eyes. My heart thumped hard and loudly, it felt like was going to burst out of my chest. Sadly the bell rang ending our spark. While walking to trig class i turned around only to find he was still gazing at me. I turned the corner almost bumping into the wall. All I could think of was Jake. After an 45 minutes in trig class time flew by like a broken out of control clock. 15 minutes later it was time for dissmissal, I decided to not go to the mall with Ashley ,because of a fear of the presence of Jake. I pulled into the driveway and ran up to my room. I took off my heels and hopped on my bed and posted the following on facebook, " To anonymous , My feelings never go away for you, your eyes just enchant me under your charming spell love - Rebecca." Looking over at my nightstand, i stared at a picture of me and jake in our previous relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend. I finished my work, at my dinner, and got my shower. Then I went to bed in a sweater Jake had bought me when we were together.
