Backstory:
I used to be a ordinary stray dog. Born a stray, live a stray. That was before Peter Jackson Williamson, a world renound scientist and metal smith, took me. At first I thought that I had finally found a home. But not everything is seen a first glance. A week after I was taken by Dr. Williamson I was the subject of horrific experiments. Its a wonder how I survived by barely enough anesthetic to dull the pain. It seems like I was also injected with thousands of cemicals to transform me into another animal. With that animal being a human, I was subjected to have wires run through my entire lower body and metal prostatics to substitute for some of my body parts. I wasn't the only one to go though these experiments, but I was the only one to survive them. Soon the athorites got suspicious of Dr. Williamson. Many people had called saying they had heard screams from his property. One said 'the screams a were blood curdling, many sounded like animals, but some sounded near human'. Aware of the suspicion Dr. Williamson fled, leaving everything behind. And more importantly leaving me behind. The athorites caught Dr. Williamson and he was sent to jail. Police officers were dispatched to search Dr. Williamson's house and in the basement they found all the dead experiments and one live one. They had found me, Copper, only 9 years old, half-human half-dog, barely alive and stuck in a cage ment for a puppy. When I first saw them I was in human form. As they opened the gate of my cage I turned into my Inu form. By the time they were reaching out to grap me I was trembling in terror and in puppy form. When I was pulled out my pupils were dialated, my tail was in between my legs and I was letting out pitiful wines. The officer that had picked me up saw this and soothingly peted my ears. That officer was Jack Pelts and he was also a metal smith. I slowly relaxed and turned back into human form. Jack and his squad were perplexed with what to do with me. Understanding human speech I broke in. I said,"All I want is a home, a true and real home." All the officers were stunned, except Jack. Jack asked, "What's your name?" I replied,"Copper. Copper Mine." That was it. My name had convinced him. Jack had always wanted a son and readily took me in.
