More lore on Katsunori :DDD

That's it. The case was over. Let me give you a recap of what happened. Koichi and I asked the commanders to help us with the code since we were suspicious to the black market people and we were afraid that they wouldn't let us in. They agreed (but gave me side eyes the whole way to the insurance office) and the code worked. They found the hideout and everyone who's working in the black market industry that was found at that time was arrested and that major threat was eliminated.

"Oi! Isn't that Koichi and Haruto?" Grandma said, coming over and pinching my cheek. "I'm glad you're back, Haruto. I'm sure everyone misses you greatly."

"Yeah, and Haruto actually figured out the code that is crucial to figuring out this case." Koichi added. "Good job Haruto. Not bad for a rookie."

"Now Koichi, rookie isn't a very nice word to say right?" Grandpa said, walking in with a tray of cookies. "Would you like one Koichi and Haruto?"

We both nodded our heads and took a chocolate chip cookie. I bit into it and was surprised the cookie was so soft and chewy that it practically melted in my mouth. It was the best cookie I ever had! Even better than Miss Mindy's! Grandpa has a reputation of being the captain of the defense force but also the best backer.

"Thank you!" Koichi and I both said, smiling.

"The cookie's so good, grandpa!" I said, taking another bite.

"I'm glad you like it, Haruto." Grandpa said, beaming proudly as well. "You know, we're picking members from the internship program to join the amateur league. It's a league for those who are under 18 but have the capability to join."

Koichi nodded. "It pays as well as if you join the real thing but you get to fight monsters that aren't that hard or fight with a senior."

"Haruto, keep on working on it." Grandma said, messing up my hair. "You have talent."

I nodded and smiled slightly before Grandpa and Grandma dismissed me. They said that because I'm in the internship program, I can leave early if I wanted to, so I left.

When I was walking down the hallway, I saw Hiroshi walking past, carrying a can of energy drink and a notebook. I waved but he only gave me a side eye. I felt a wave of disappointment from him and walked faster, cringing at the fact I thought waving to the boyfriend of the person I basically killed was okay.

While walking on the street, I wonder where I should go, if I should just go straight home or perhaps go somewhere for lunch. I checked my phone and saw it was only 3:00 pm. It was still quite early. As I was strolling down the street to the nearest convenience store, I saw someone familiar. The person had their slightly gray hair in a bun and had sunglasses on. I was about to walk away when that person approached me.

"Haruto? Is that you?" The person came over and propped her sunglasses in her hair. It was Miss Sharotto.

"Hi Miss Sharotto," I said bowing. "How are you doing today?"

"Oi! You grew taller, Haruto. Do you want some clothes? I have some spare ones. I run a clothing store so don't worry. Also, is Katsunori still giving you trouble? If he is, I'll talk to him."

"Umm, clothes?"

"Yeah. Do you want some?"

"Umm, sure I guess. I'm not busy this afternoon."

"Alright. Here, I'll lead you to my house and you can sit down for tea as well. Oh yeah, how's Katsunori doing? Is he still giving you trouble?"

"Umm, no. I'm not sure where he is."
