The Wedding of the Century: A Naxie Story (3/3)

Untitled Part 36

Lucy had just announced Nathan and Maxie married and Mr and Mrs West.  

They had kissed as a married couple precisely at midnight.  

As they formed the line to greet people they said thank you as the following walked by: Samuel L Jackson, Isaiah Jamison, Robin Scorpio, Emma Scorpio Drake, Nikolas Cassadine, Spencer Cassadine, Britt Westbourne, and Sabrina.

When Nikolas noticed Britt at the wedding he quickly told Nathan "Why isn't she in prison?  She better go to jail once this is over."

Nathan "I will.  I already told her that."

Nikolas "Wait she's been here for a while?"

Nathan "Yes helping Maxie with her pregnancy and my twins.  I already told her she's going to be arrested once this is finished."

Nikolas "The upstanding detective does something sneaky.  Maybe you really are a Cassadine and not just by blood."

Nathan "I'm nothing like Helena or anyone else."

Nikolas "I think it's just dying to come out."

Nathan "No it's not.  I'm not like you.  I don't give into the evil side of my family.  I don't let the darkness take over."

Maxie "Can we not discuss this right now?  We're supposed to be happy.  We're supposed to be celebrating."

Nikolas "I'm sorry Maxie.  It was an amazing wedding and I was shocked to see who crashed it."

Maxie "I think we all were.  Who would have expected Samuel L Jackson to crash a wedding in Port Charles."

The next person to walk the line was Bruce Willis.

Bruce "So Sam invited me to join him.  I also brought a few other friends."

Nathan "Who?"

Bruce "Jason Statham Arnold Schwarzenegger Morgan Freeman Jimmy Fallon Seth Meyers."

Maxie "Um what?"

Nathan "Wow those are some big names."

Bruce "Between Sam and I we're friends with all of them."

After greeting everyone and thanking them Maxie and Nathan began the meal.

Suddenly as the food was half eaten Chris Arena came out and began singing "Dreams" which led Maxie to grab Nathan's arm and get up to dance.

Nathan said "I will but only because its our wedding and its our song."

Maxie smiled "I love you Nathan" kissing his lips sweetly and passionately as they swayed to the music.

Nathan wrapped his arms around his wife holding her close as they suddenly felt like there was no ground below them.

Felicia watched as her daughter danced slowly with her husband smiling but also shedding joyful tears that Maxie was truly happy.

Frisco announced a little later that he had a special surprise for his daughter.

Maxie was shocked when she heard the song "You are the sunshine of my life" by Stevie Wonder himself.  

She smiled at her father and cried happy tears as they shared a father daughter dance.

Nathan watched his wife dance around the room with Frisco like she was a little girl.

Nathan then took the hands of Georgie and danced her around the room as everyone looked on.

Stevie stuck around to sing "overjoyed" "I just called to say I love you" "my Cherie amour" "I was made to love her" and "You and I."

Maxie looked at Nathan then Frisco and said "Well this is definitely the best wedding this town has ever seen!"

Nathan "I'm glad!  Except for those guests your father invited I planned everything else plus one more thing."

Maxie "What else could you have possibly done?"

"What would I do without your smart mouth drawing me in and you kicking me out got my head spinning no kidding I can't pin you down what's going on in that beautiful mind..." 

Maxie "Wait?  John Legend?  How?  I want to know?"

Nathan "Cassie Kirkland had a contact for me and I used it.  She paid the cost to get him here."

Maxie "Wow!  I didn't think I could love you more!"

John singing "All of me loves all of you love your curves and all your edges all your perfect imperfections give your all to me I'll give my all to you you're my End and my beginning even when I love I'm winning because I give you all of me and you give me all of you..."

Maxie danced with Nathan during the song and kissed his lips with a burning desire that would melt anyone or anything.
