Hey guys! So I've been working on chapter 2 all day today. Hope its ok and not too many grammar issues. I also went back into the prologue and chapter 1 and fixed things up and adjusted the plot a little so you may want to go back and skim over those before continuing. Thanks so much for reading and I'll post again soon!
Chapter 2
I practically sprinted to Chemistry, trying to get there quickly so I could start texting Jackie before class started. I got to class just as the bell rang signaling the end of class. I threw my stuff down on my desk and opened up a new message and started typing to Jackie.
So we were n the dkrm b/c we agreed to go 2each others classes 2c wat we liked. We were pulling photos and I turned 2 him 2 ask if he was ready 2go when he was rite there and then he kissed me! KISSED! And then I woke up and I culd still feel his lips on mine! Jackie it was so real I seriously started wondering if it was!
I finished my message and hit send just as the bell rang. I hid my phone in my boot as my teacher started writing out notes on the board. I quickly grabbed a pen and started frantically writing, trying to keep up and listen to what he was saying at the same time.
I had just finished writing when I felt my phone vibrate in my boot. I glanced up to see he was writing on the board and had his back to me so I quickly reached down and pulled my phone out. Glancing back up to check he was still writing I looked at Jackie’s reply;
Girl that’s awesome! We really need to work on a plan ASAP cause these r signs that ur meant to b 2gether!!
I smiled and started to respond when someone bumped my desk. I looked up startled to see my teacher looking at me waiting for me to speak. I quickly shoved my phone back into my boot. “Um, I’m sorry can you repeat the question?” I asked, blushing. My teacher looked at me in annoyance.
“I said, what reaction is AX plus BY?” I glanced over at Taylor, who was sitting next to me. She shifted her arm down slightly and pointed with her pencil to the reaction type. Double Replacement. “Um is it a double replacement reaction?” I asked, glancing up at him. “Yes it is, thank you for your assistance, Taylor,” he said. I glanced over at Taylor. “Thanks,” I whispered. She nodded and continued writing her notes. I turned back to my notes and started writing, trying to ignore the buzzing coming from my boot.

The bell rang, and I frantically packed up my stuff. Chemistry was always my longest class and I was always ready to get out of there as soon as the bell rang. I also tried not to linger because Michael’s brother had Physics in this class next and I tried to avoid him as much as I tried avoiding Michael.
I had just grabbed my bag and was headed to the door, when my teacher pulled me aside. “Now Ivy, I don’t want to see you texting in my class again, or I will have to take your phone,” he said. I nodded, “I completely understand and it won’t happen again.” He nodded and I turned to leave.
Just as I made it to the door, his brother, Connor, was walking in. He saw me coming, and stepped aside to let me through. “Excuse me,” I said as I walked past, blushing. He nodded in acknowledgment as I scurried past. I loved it when guys did that. It was such a southern thing and not many guys did that anymore.
As I reached my next class, Photo, I saw Emily walking ahead of me. I sped up to catch up with her. “Hey there,” I said, slowing my pace. “Hey, how was Chem?” she asked, sarcastically. She knew how much I hated Chemistry.
“David caught me texting and pulled me aside after class, but I just got a warning,” I said, shrugging it off. She laughed, “Wow, go Ivy, texting in class!” I rolled my eyes as we walked into class.
