"You know that I still like you, right?"
"...wait for me a little more, will ya?" - Soran said, as he got up from the rocky ground. He tried walking away, but the boy next to him grabbed his ankle, leaving him unable to move.
"...I can wait, but don't make me wait for nothing. It wouldn't feel so nice, after all this time." - Dexter said with his head down, still sitting on the rocky steps.
"....."
Soran hesitates for a moment.
His baggy clothes ruffled, as he crouched back down to the motionless boy.
He pulled him in for a big hug, leaving his friend quite surprised.
"Regain confidence, Dex." - he smiled, gently patting Dexter on the shoulder.
Soran stood up again, turned his back to start walking away, but he briefly stopped.
He slightly tilted his head to the side.
"You know.... it's been quite a while, since I last hugged someone like that." - Soran wondered in thoughts, as he slowly walked away.
"..." - Dexter's warm gaze watched the boy dissapear from his sight.
As he sighed.
