A New Friendship
Over the next few weeks, Emily and Jason found themselves spending more and more time together. Jason would often drop by the art studio to watch Emily paint, and Emily would occasionally accompany him on his photography trips around campus.
Despite her shyness, Emily felt comfortable around Jason. He had a way of making her feel at ease, and she found herself opening up to him in ways she never had with anyone before. Jason, on the other hand, was captivated by Emily's quiet beauty and the way she saw the world through her art.
One day, while walking through the park, Jason suddenly stopped and pulled out his camera. "Wait here," he said, motioning for Emily to stay where she was.
Emily stood still, watching as Jason moved around her, snapping pictures from different angles. She felt a little self-conscious but also flattered that he found her interesting enough to photograph.
When he was done, he smiled at her. "You're a natural."
Emily laughed softly. "I’m not used to being in front of the camera."
"Maybe you should be," Jason said, his voice soft, almost teasing.
