"Hungry, anyone?" Sulhee's bright voice interrupted the quiet focus, She stretched, her arms swaying overhead, a relaxed smile spreading across her face. Beomgyu rolled his eyes, shaking his head.
"You barely lifted a finger" he mocked tentatively, glancing at the papers scattered before them. Sulhee rolled her eyes good-naturedly, "Lunch break, guys! Let's take a breather"
Aera nodded in agreement, "I can't do this shit all day, i need a break"
The group's collective sigh signaled their willingness to step away. As they packed up, the atmosphere lightened, replaced by anticipation of a welcome respite.
Beomgyu and Jiwon strolled side by side, their hands intertwined as they delved into effortless conversation. Their laughter and smiles harmonized, creating a warm atmosphere that drew Aera in. She sidled up, her gaze flicking between them.
Aera observed them with a thoughtful gaze, her voice tinged with curiosity, "You two seem incredibly close."
Jiwon's eyes darted at her, "We're best friends, after all." Beomgyu nodded in unison, their bond evident.
"We've grown even closer lately" Beomgyu added, his expression affectionate.
Jiwon's attention shifted to aera, "And you? Is there someone special here you're close to?"
Aera's lips curved into a gentle smile as she shook his head. "Not yet, but we're stuck until the semester ends – six more months. I'm sure we'll grow closer."
Unknowingly jiwon caught aera's eyes trailed on beomgyu, a triumphant of smile adorned her face as she guessed what was coming for, she secretly wiggled her brows at beomgyu who clicked his tongue annoyingly.
"Yoo you're not coming with us?" Sulhee's voice pierced the air, She gestured toward Eunseok, who stood aloof, observing the trio from a distance. His gaze seemed lost in thought.
Eunseok's curt reply was laced with a hoarse undertone, "No." Jaemin's eyes met Eunseok's, his expression softening. He stepped forward, draping his hands over Eunseok's broad shoulders.
"Damn you're ridiculously tall" Jaemin said with a chuckle. "And come on, we're stuck together for months. We gotta bond well" Eunseok's resolve unwavered, his rugged demeanor deafening before a sigh escaped from him.
For the mission he thought to himself before nodding.
The group trudged toward a cozy restaurant near the hospital, its homely atmosphere beckoning. As they settled around the cozy dining table, jiwon let out a curse under her breath, realizing she'd situated herself directly across from Eunseok. His eyes remained fixed on his phone, scrolling through unknown content, his expression detached.
