1. The first technique enables the user to conjure darkness, allowing them to traverse through shadows and wield it as a formidable weapon. However, mastering this technique demands a significant amount of shards, making it a challenging endeavor.
2. The second technique harnesses the essence of light, enabling the creation of exceptionally durable weapons and armor from divine radiance. This technique draws power from the heavens; for instance, "God's Judgment" unleashes a devastating beam capable of annihilating entire cities, though it comes at a steep cost of shards to the user.
3. The third technique revolves around. While it may not possess immense strength, it is highly tactical and serves as an excellent support mechanism.
4. The fourth technique is water-based, granting the user the ability to wield formidable aquatic powers, such as summoning tsunamis. This technique is often employed for creating platforms or facilitating water transportation and can be accessed by both humans and other beings.
5. The fifth technique is perilous, as it allows the user to generate flames that can be molded into gauntlets or unleashed as devastating waves of fire. However, if not mastered, these flames can also harm the user.

Each technique reflects the intricate balance of power, mastery, and the vital energy that is the Zejin Shard.
This journey begins with Zero. A boy born with the shards of Zejin, which puts him in the category of races called "Zejins." He and his brother, One, were abandoned as kids and were forced to grow up without parents. One through those years was forced to be strong in order to be able to defeat the threats they had to encounter. Zero lived an easy life, which in turn made him weak and laid back. Hunter is a foster child taken in by the brothers after their first mission. Hunter's backstory is unknown and is never questioned for odd reasons. Hunter was born and still is human. Yet the trio are comfortable with Hunter despite their lack of knowledge about his whereabouts.
The trio all specialize in different techniques to suit their preference in fighting styles These fighting styles being Brawler (An expert in fighting in hand to hand combat manily reserved for people who fight with gauntlets), Ajariu (an expert at fast movement who usually rely on weapons to create devastating attacks) and Technicians (People who solely rely on weapons to aid them in battle they are usually weak without the weapons but are formidable when aided). The potential and destructive power of someone is also graded with ranks starting from as low as D rank, which are either civilians or very weak entities. C rank, which are entities that have enough power to kill a human but lack the power to destroy terrain. B rank, which has the power to destroy small buildings and small portions of large towns. A rank, which are capable of destroying large cities and towns and Z rank, which is extremely rare rank. They possess enough power to destroy the planet universes or even, at large scales, use deadly techniques capable of destroying universes.
One specializes in the 1st technique, mainly the manifestation part of it. His fighting style "brawler" utilizes the gauntlets given when using this technique. 4th technique, he has mastered this technique, especially the creation and manipution aspects of the technique. 7th technique, he spent years mastering this technique and unlocked 8th technique during the process. One has honed his techniques and has power that towers above both Hunter and Zero combined and is graded as an A rank Brawler. Zero, on the other hand, is on the weaker end in terms of strength but covers up in his skill and speed. He uses 5th technique, mainly for tactical use and spent month mastering the technique and in turn experiences minimal flaws with his technique. He also uses the 3rd and 6th technique but hasn't really spent time mastering any of the techniques. His fighting style mainly consists of Brawler techniques and is graded B rank. Hunter is extremely intelligent but lacks strength, Hunter can create technology that can keep up with Zero but nowhere near strong enough to contend with One and is graded B rank along with Zero.
The trio lay bored at their hideout, Zero lazily laying on the couch, One meditating keeping his senses sharp in case of attack and Hunter working on his mechanical suits and weapons "Let's go do a mission already!" Zero says. One shrugs and smirks. Hunter agrees with Zero and presses a button a mechanical suit whcih makes it fold into a cube, which he places in a bag. One stands up and opens his eyes, "Let's go then." Zero is excited and jumps out the couch with a bunch stars on his eyes. One keeps a serious demeanor, and Hunter takes his bag, which has his armor, power enhacing chips, and a few thousand nano bots.
The trio arrived at the bounty center. They are greeted by a robot, which shows the graded scroll quests. On the wall are C rank missions, which they ignore. "I have a better idea in mind." One takes a B rank mission. 'Capture 2 demons.' Hunter and Zero seem confused. "Demons?" They ask.
A robot near the quest plays a tune and begins an explanation. "Shortly after the birth of our planet, humans were made and given the ability to disern good from bad. After a group of people known as Holstofians harnessed the 9th technique for evil, the humans were given the task by a god to eradicate the race. In retaliation, the Holstofians used their emotions to embue it into the corpse of fallen comrades, which created a new life form called 'Monsters'. 'Monsters' do not have a signature technique and often times go rogue which makes, due to this they gain a physical prowess that allows them to become stronger. Monsters tend to appear after wars and deaths of powerful soldiers. Demons are sentient monsters and more than commonly have a signature technique. They tend to look humanoid and tend to be intelligent. Demons. Both monsters and demons can combine with one another after consuming the corpse of a defeated monster or demon." Zero nods and pats the robot."I was totally listening, thanks for you help!"
