"BE HOME BY twelve!" The strict voice of the blonde girl's mother calls as she groans and shuts the front door to their large apartment and heads for the stairwell.
Madeline Swift lives in Central London, the perfect place for young people. It wasn't all sunshine and rainbows growing up in such a bustling city, but as you get older you're able to appreciate the busy city more.
Madeline's white heels hit the tarmac as she rushes over to her best friend — Eryn. Eryn Pierce is tall with red hair and bright green eyes. She's wearing a dark green dress with some black heels and dark eyeliner accentuating the green colour of her eyes. The pair of friends are polar opposites of each other, with opposing styles and interests. Yet somehow it works, and has worked for the past seven years.
Madeline is wearing a small, strapless white dress with black lace on the neckline and her blonde hair is wavy down her back. She's wearing thin black tights and some chunky white heels, clutching a white bag in her soft hand.
"Bitch! I've missed you!" Eryn embraces her friend tightly and keeps an arm around her as they stroll down the busy streets.
"It's Saturday, Eryn. You saw me yesterday."
"So?" Eryn shakes her head. "I'm eighteen! I'm legally allowed to do everything!"
"I wouldn't say everything." Madeline laughs as Eryn tugs her along by the hand towards the clubs that don't ask for ID. "My Mum says I have to be back by twelve." She pouts and Eryn huffs yet smiles as they get into the line.
"It's fine! You're eighteen in like...four months."
"Yeah, and I bet she'll still give me a curfew." Madeline laughs and Eryn snorts, nodding.
Madeline's mother is definitely...a character. She loves her daughter, more than anything. But she's hard on her, strict and stubborn. Madeline has practically been living her entire life in her Mum's image. Maybe because Heather had her when she was quite young and now lives vicariously through her...it isn't right but Madeline gets it.
As for Madeline's father...he hasn't been in the picture for her entire life. According to her mother, he wasn't even from the country and they'd met on a night out. He didn't even know she existed, apparently. There was no way for Heather to track him down but Madeline's grandmother was a strict Catholic and so, enter Madeline.
