Daou POV
For the love of god, Daou couldn't stop fucking up. When B apologized this morning, he kept making comments about how Offroad sleeps around and was supposedly with Ohm all while doing this, so he was just worried for him. Daou brushed it off; he didn't think anything of it; he just wanted to get to class to see Offroad. But when Offroad moved away from them to sit with that Ohm boy Daou lost it and when Daou had to sit there and watch as the boy soothed Offroad he wanted to flip his desk over. As they talked about their projects however as Offroad was cuddled up against him he understood why Offroad liked the boy. He was smart, and cute, and just had this sense of calm about him. As Daou sat there listening to him talk, he couldn't help but think, that he probably doesn't get jealous, he probably isn't controlling, or needy, or possessive.
Daou wanted to punch something or himself. Offroad was literally glued to him and Daou had spent the entire class thinking about how better off he would be with someone else. Then in the room, Daou just couldn't keep his mouth shut. Yeah, he had sex but it was never adventurous, the most adventurous thing he had done was when he groped Offroad in the car. So when Offroad made the comment all Daou could think about was how many people had given Offroad a blow job in an empty classroom and how many people had he given one to and he got angry not at the act but at the thought other people touched him. Offroad saying he wasn't good enough had his heartbreaking in ways he didn't know it would break. How could his perfect boy think he wasn't good enough?
"Ou!" Daou heard B call from down the hall. Hearing anyone but Offroad call him made his stomach curl. Daou saw B dragging Frank along with him. "Are you ready to head to the library?"
"What?" Daou asked.
"We are meeting Offroad and Ton at the library," Frank reminded him. Daou immediately perked up; as he absentmindedly floated through the rest of his classes he had forgotten they were meeting today. Daou didn't even answer and immediately turned to take off towards the library he was going to apologize and grovel and explain and do whatever he needed to do to get back in Offroads good gracious. Because he didn't want to pretend to be friends. His entire world may have been flipped upside down by this boy but he didn't want it to go back to before.
Daou made it to the library in record time quickly scanning the area for Offroad. His heart skipped a beat when he finally spotted the boy at a table. He made his way to the table and his heart fell. The table Ton was seated at was a table only meant for 4 and Offroad had pushed a singular desk and chair up to the table of 4. He knew he wasn't going to be able to next to Offroad but he hoped he would have been able to sit in front of him.
"Wouldn't one of the larger tables be better?" Daou asked.
"This is fine," Ton answered in a cold voice, glaring at him.
"Oh good y'all are here," Frank said as he and B approached the table.
"Oh, Ou, sit next to me," B said cheerfully, pushing him towards the furthest seat away from Offroad. Offroad who was busy flipping through pages of a book at the other end of the table not even bothering to look at him. 'Please look at me,' Daou thought as he took his seat.
"Great, the team I worked with today had some really great points for when we file the report," Frank said, taking his seat next to Ton. "Did any of the teams y'all spoke to have any good pointers?"
"Not really, our subject is kind of on the harder side," Ton shrugged.
"Dang, what about you Daou?" Daou heard Frank ask but he was too busy glaring at Offroad in the hopes the boy would make eye contact with him. "Daou!"
"Oh," Daou said, finally jerking his attention to Frank. "Sorry, yes, Ohm actually had some tips in regards to the debate,"
"Score," Frank said, "What were they?"
