A/N: Meet Amelia Massarotti...
She is gorgeous! (The picture in the media section) Have a nice day!

---------------------------------

Will and his mother left two minutes ago. Mom followed them arguing that she had to get to a meeting she was forced to postpone in order to arrange enough time for the discussion about my fake relationship. Dad had been gone since yesterday to Tokyo, and Pamela was sleeping at her friend's which gave the house's control to myself.

The memory of Amelia asking us to stay at her house yesterday sparked the idea of inviting them over. I was done with homework anyway.

I chose to call Amelia first considering that it was going to be hard and probably take more time if she was still angry with me for the whole William thing, which I absolutely understand. One can't just date a best friend's ex, and specially one that cheated on her. Although she cheated on him too, I am not defending Amelia in this scenario because both of them are technically equally guilty, but even if the fault is hers too, I should have asked if it was okay before enrolling myself in a relationship with that guy.

"Are you still mad?" Were the first words I uttered through the phone.

There was a sigh coming from the other line. Strange enough, there was a brief laugh afterward. "Anne babe,"

"Stop." I almost yelled. "Don't call me that. Don't ever call me that, it's weird." It was not weird, but rather irritating. I had enough of William and the nickname reminded me of him.

"Um," She mumbled. "Sure. Anyway, I am not mad. Listen, I am completely over Will. I don't care about him. He is a jerk. I was angry because you didn't tell me, but I understand now. Your parents would have never been okay with it if they somehow knew and you would never risk it. I do want to know how you are managing this situation because it must be hard for you, which is why I don't want to make it worse."

The familiar feeling of guiltiness crept into me. I never realized I could be such a bad friend. Friendship has always been a priority in my life, and now I am lying to my best friends in the worst way. But I had to, it was a big opportunity to show my parents I do care about the business. All my life, they have reprimanded me about not being interested enough in their jobs, and not participating in them. They almost never tell me anything that is going on in that aspect because they believe I won't understand it. I want to understand it, as hard as it is for me, I do want to participate and show interest. Even if it is not what I want to pursue as a career. It is still part of me and I want to help them and support them.

"Thank you Amelia. I really appreciate it. I love you okay?"

"I love you too, but that is not the reason why you called me, it is?"

"No, I wanted you to come over. Nobody is home."

"You know, most people would throw a party if they had the house to themselves."

"Well, most people don't have Anastasia Vandenberg as a mother."

"Just make sure you have lots of carbs."

"Oh," I said remembering Mrs. Massarotti's strict diets anytime she has a runway coming up. At thirty two, she was still in- demand and a very successful model who took care of her body as though it held the the solution to global warming. "is your mom on a diet again?" I asked concerned. Sadly, when Amelia's mom is on a diet, the whole family is as well.

"Those salads don't fill a third of my stomach."

"Note it. Call Charlotte for me please."

I ended the call and started heading to the kitchen. I made sure there was enough pizza for three and paced back to the living room. The girls arrived in ten minutes and we all happily skipped to the couch where we accommodated ourselves for a movie.
