The Jaiswal house was filled with an air of celebration.

It had been a year since Yuvika and Samaksh's marriage, and the family decided to host an intimate gathering for their close friends and loved ones.

The house gleamed with soft, golden lights, setting a perfect backdrop for the night.

Everything was ready, and now it was just a matter of waiting for the guests to arrive.

Samiksha, who had been working tirelessly for this evening, was finally dressed and looking stunning in her pastel green suit.

Her long, wavy hair fell effortlessly over her shoulders, and she looked radiant, as if she were the star of the night.

She had designed both Yuvika and Samaksh's outfits for this occasion - a sleek black suit for her brother and a shimmering black saree for her bhabhi, both of which they adored and wore proudly.

As Samiksha made some final checks, her phone buzzed.

The Singh family had arrived.

Yash, Ishani, little Ishaan (well, not-so-little anymore), Mokshita, and Yuvaan, with their little girl in tow, walked into the house.

Yuvaan, as expected, was incredibly protective of his daughter, as were all the men in the Singh family, who hovered around their princess.

Vyom and Kamakshi also joined, exchanging warm greetings with the Jaiswals.

Just as the mood was getting more lively, Shivam arrived with his grandparents, and Dhanush followed with his parents shortly after.

The house buzzed with cheerful chatter and laughter as everyone began greeting one another.

Shivam was laughing at something his grandfather said when his gaze unconsciously shifted across the room.

His eyes landed on a girl standing near the far end, her back turned to him.

She was wearing a pastel green suit, and something about the way the delicate strings danced on her partially bare back caught his attention.

His breath hitched.

For some inexplicable reason, he found her back... sexy.

The strings on her outfit, combined with the graceful fall of her hair, created a captivating sight.

He didn't know why he was staring, but something about her held him in place, his mind unable to look away.

But then she turned around, and Shivam felt a jolt of surprise.

It was Samiksha.

His best friend's sister.

His eyes widened for a second, shocked that it was her he had been ogling.

This wasn't the first time either - he had felt this strange pull of attraction toward her before, during Samaksh's birthday party a few months ago.

Back then, he had brushed it off, blaming it on the whiskey he had been drinking.

But now, standing here, sober and fully aware, there was no denying the way his heart skipped a beat when he looked at her.

His gaze grew intense, eyes drinking in every detail.

The way Samiksha smiled, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she animatedly chatted with Yuvika and some guests.

The way her cheeks puffed up adorably when she pouted, the way her earrings dangled softly against her cheek.
