Just Enemies (Original Story)

Embarrassing.

Lena sat down and Max was nowhere to be seen. Brandon made a gesture with his shoulders shrugging. Dominic sat down in Max's seat with a smile asking if she minded but Lena thought the teacher would mind but Mr.D. Was too tired to care and once he finished taking attendance. He began writing the class schedule.

Lena looked to her side and saw Dom write something on the side of his lined paper. She read it and it said: you look amazing!. Lena smiled at Dom and wrote on the lined paper quickly a thanks with a heart. To Dom's side in his seat was Rider who was getting irritated at this obvious flirting going on between Dom & Lena. So he passed a note to Julia and asked if she would switch seats after lunch and she wrote back why. He lied and said he couldn't see well and her seat would help. It was directly behind Dom. She was the nice girl in class so she said sure and as lunch breezed by Rider waited for Dom to take his seat by Lena and once he did Rider took the seat behind Lena's instead. Julia's seat mate Larissa didn't care or mind.

Dom was coming on thick with asking Lena about the doodles she had on her binder that she made in marker. Rider couldn't believe how she didn't see it and was answering him and seemed just happy someone cared about her doodles. When Rider saw Dom rest his arm on the top of Lena's seat he reacted before he could think it all through. Rider saw the clasp of Lena's bra and had experience and before Dom could notice Rider touched her clasp and unclasped her bra. Lena stopped mid conversation. She got up and asked the teacher if she could go to the bathroom. He said fine and gave her the bathroom pass which was a laminated note saying which class and teacher  on it with bathroom pass written on it.

As soon as Lena left Dom turned and smiled at Rider asking him why he did that dumb prank when he was making progress. Rider laughed and told him that she was just happy someone liked her doodles and wanted to hear her talk about anime. Dom told him not to keep pulling that shit while he was talking to Lena. Rider just told him that he was only trying to save him with how desperate he looked. Dom told him that he was a buddy for that but that he knew what he was doing. You could see the truth through the posturing. Rider was telling Dom this bothered him and Dom was telling him to fuck off.

"Sir I need to take a piss."

"Language mr.Strong."

"Can I go?."

"Here."

Dom asked if he could go as well but the teacher reminded him that it was one pass per student. Rider took it and closed the door behind him and began walking down the hallway. He crossed paths with Lena who had fixed herself and was coming back to class. Rider put his arm infront of her face and blocked her from leaving.

"Move."

Rider leaned into her neck and shoulders and whispered into her ears with the hot breath tickling her ears.

"Make me..."

Lena looked away but he rested his chin on her shoulder. And told her that Dominic is playing with her and she should be careful about who she lets get close to her.

"Do you care?."

"Not really but you're embarrassing yourself and I feel bad for you."

"Fuck you."

Rider smiled at that then took his arm away and kept walking toward the boys bathroom. Lena wondered if both him and Dom were playing a game and maybe she was the toy. That the bet is she confesses to one of them and the loser pays up. Maybe to humiliate her and reject her as well. Either way maybe it would be best to not show how much she liked talking to Dom in case he was toying with her.

Once Lena made it back to class she joined Dom who had more questions about a character she designed. He said he loved the eyes on it but Lena smiled and thanked him and said that maybe they need to focus on the chapter they were supposed to read. Dom instantly knew Rider said something but he still took the chance to offer sharing a book since he hid hers in his desk. Lena at first said no but noticed quickly her book was gone. So she took Dom up on his offer.

Rider got back to class and gave the bathroom pass to Dom but Dom quickly returned it to the teacher. He then explained to Rider that he didn't need to go anymore and Rider smirked at him and just told him no problem. It was still tense and everyone picked up on it except Lena who was just trying to focus on finishing then writing at least three paragraphs about this chapter. Catcher in the Rye is a boring book but at least she didn't have to think when she read.

Brandon noticed this weird energy from both guys and he felt anxious and wondered would others try what these two were doing. Would they toy with Lena but maybe he was overthinking it and besides it didn't seem like Lena even noticed the tension. Which is the best he can hope for. Brandon couldn't wait for Max to come back to school.

"Do you think we should write about the feelings or a theme of this chapter?."

"I think we should focus on the themes of the this chapter..."

"I like how you think."

"Thanks Dom."

Rider poked Lena with his pen and she swatted it away. He told her he just wanted to ask her something and she told him he had a partner and should ask her. Rider was Alittle surprised at how he liked Lena being bold with him.
