It was the first night for the show and Aaron currently sat in Ari's dressing room as they finished her makeup off. Amanda and Hugh were getting ready in their dressing rooms but Aaron had been ready for a while.
"Are you excited?" He asked his girlfriend as he played with Tolouse on the floor.
Ari nodded, "Yeah, but I'm a bit nervous."
"That's normal, it's like doing a show." Aaron agreed with her, "I'm excited for you." He laughed.
A knock sounded on the door then Ari's stage manager opened it, "You're on in five." The makeup artist, Jackie, finished setting the makeup then allowed Ari to stand up. She slipped her outfit on quickly and then ran out of the room, Aaron following.
She grabbed her mic and ran to the platform where her entrance would be. Aaron ran to watch from the wings are Ari rose up from under the stage.
The music to "We can't be friends" started and Ari sang as the platform rose. The crowd screamed as she appeared on stage.
The set list included, "bye", "the man", "I can do it with a broken heart, "The smallest man who ever lived", "Red", "Hits different", "Last Kiss", "Suburban Legends", "The prophecy", and "Sad beautiful tragic". That's when she brought out Amanda. They sang, "I have a dream" from Mamma Mia and "Honey Honey" together for Hugh Jackman came out, and per Ari's request, he sand "The Surrey With a Fringe On Top" from Oklahoma with her. The finally, Aaron came out and the pair of them sang "I've never been in love before" together.
The show ended with the four of them on stage together as they went down through the platform Ari entered on.
What a night that was. Seems, like the tour'll go well.
