Jungkook yelled, "NO! NO! LIA!!" as he sprinted toward her, leaping into the water with a powerful dive. He swam quickly, determined to reach her before it was too late.
Lia was sinking into the water in slow motion, and after a bit of struggle, she finally surrendered, closing her eyes and quieting her thoughts.
She was going down, feeling like this was the end for her. Just as she was about to go under completely, Jungkook reached out and grabbed her hand, pulling her back towards him.
He pulled her lifeless body with all his strength, moving it toward the shore until they reached the surface of the water.
He lifted her up, carried her to the shore, and carefully placed her on the sand. "Lia, please open your eyes!" he said, lightly tapping her cheek to wake her up.
He rested his head on her chest and noticed that he couldn't hear her breathing at all.
He began by applying some intense pressure on her chest with his hands to try and help her, but it didn't seem to make a difference.
He was in a panic! He ran his fingers through his hair and quickly tried to call the driver, but then he remembered that his phone was in his pocket when he jumped into the water, and now it was totally dead.
Shit! Lia, you have to wake up! He gently held her face and shook her a little, hoping to bring her back to consciousness.
I won't let anything wrong happen to you. Please just wake up!
But she was completely unconscious. Jungkook, gazing at her with concern, suddenly had an idea and leaned in closer to her face.
He let out a deep breath, blinked a few times, and softly murmured to himself, "You have to do this, Jungkook."
He didn't hesitate for a moment and quickly pressed his lips against Lia's to help her breathe, then pushed down on her chest again with his hands. "Come on, open your eyes!" he urged.
He tried it a couple of times, and at last, when he pressed his lips against hers, Lia gradually opened her eyes.
Jungkook pulled back and wrapped his arms around her. "Lia! Thank God!
He held her close in his embrace, and Lia gradually reached her hand to his back, giving him a warm hug.
After a little while, he pulled back a bit and held her face softly. I felt really scared!
She noticed a weird kind of fear in his eyes that he was trying to hide, but she could see it clearly.
Jungkook! She gently touched his cheek and whispered, "I'm okay now. Just take a deep breath. You were my hero."
"I can't believe you put yourself in danger for me. No one else would ever do that," she whispered, her voice trembling. "You shine so brightly, and everyone adores you. What if something went wrong? What if you got hurt?"
"It wouldn't matter if I got hurt," she replied, her eyes glistening with unshed tears.
"Lia! You better not say that again!" Jungkook exclaimed, his voice filled with urgency. "I won't allow anything to happen to you!"
Their eyes met, and Lia felt a rush of disbelief at that moment. She couldn't believe she had come across someone like Jangook.
