"Oh my god!"

Kun exclaimed, his urgent gasp echoed through the room, a stark contrast to the tense silence that had hung in the air moments before, swiftly intervening to create a barrier between Eunseok and Hoojun.

Behind him Aera and Jaemin arrived, their presence a calming force amidst the chaos. Jiwon, sensing the situation was under control, silently retreated, trusting her friends to handle the aftermath.

Her feet felt heavy, as if rooted to the spot, but she forced herself to move, desperate to escape the suffocating atmosphere. The room seemed to shrink, the walls closing in on her.

Eunseok's gaze snapped towards her, his eyes locking onto her fleeing figure. A mix of concern and desperation etched on his face.

With haste, Eunseok sprang to his feet and pursued Jiwon. "Jiwon!" he yelled, his voice laced with desperation, echoing through the hallway. Jiwon quickened her pace, unaware of her destination, driven solely by the urge to escape.

Her heart pounded in her chest, her mind reeling with thoughts of the confrontation. She didn't wanted to break down, atleast not infront of him.

Eunseok gained ground, his long strides closing the gap between them. "Angel, wait!" he called out, his voice cracking with concern. But Jiwon didn't slow, her resolve unwavering. She couldn't face him, not now, not after everything that had transpired.

Unaware of her surroundings, Jiwon found herself escaping the hospital corridors, her feet carrying her to a familiar sanctuary. The back entrance of the hospital, with its serene garden, enveloped her in tranquility. But before she could take another step, Eunseok swiftly caught up, his sudden presence making her head snap back towards him.

Their eyes met, and Eunseok's heart clenched. Jiwon's tears slowly glistened down her cheeks, her lips turned downward in distress. A delicate flush spread across her face, a poignant contrast to her anguish. The sight pierced Eunseok's soul, as if his heart had stopped beating.

"Angel" he whispered, his voice trembling with emotion. His hands instinctively reached out, longing to comfort her, but hesitated, unsure if she'd welcome his touch.

"Why would you call me that?"
Jiwon yelled harshly, her voice cracking with anguish.

Pain struck her heart as memories flooded her mind. She recalled the countless times Eunseok had whispered "Angel" in her ear, his voice filled with affection and warmth. But now, the same word grated against her senses, evoking anger and hatred. The tender memories were tainted by his betrayal, leaving her feeling vulnerable and exposed.

Jiwon's eyes blazed with resentment, her gaze piercing Eunseok's.

"You have no right to call me that" she spat, her voice venomous. "Not after what you've done. You've destroyed everything we had, everything we were" Her words hung in the air, a stark accusation.

"I hate you"
"I know"
"I hate you more than anyone"
"I understand"
"You're insufferable"
"I know"

The air was heavy with tension, the silence between them thick with unspoken emotions. Jiwon's anger and hurt seemed to reverberate through every molecule.

Jiwon's eyes searched Eunseok's face, her voice laced with suspicion.
"Why are you being nice to me now?" she asked, her tone questioning the sudden change in his demeanor. Her tears had slowed, but the pain and hurt still lingered, raw and exposed.

Eunseok's reply was blunt, devoid of embellishments. "You're crying," he stated, his voice matter-of-fact, yet laced with an undertone of concern. His eyes locked onto hers, filled with a quiet intensity that made Jiwon's heart skip a beat.

Jiwon's gaze lingered, seeking explanation, but Eunseok's expression remained unreadable. She pressed on, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Are you pitying me?"
The thought sent a shiver down her spine; she couldn't bear the idea of being pitied by him, of all people.

Eunseok's response was swift and decisive. "No," he said, his voice firm, leaving no room for doubt. Yet, Jiwon's uncertainty persisted, her mind racing with questions.

The silence between them grew, heavy with unspoken emotions. Eunseok's eyes never left hers, his gaze burning with an unspoken message. Finally, he spoke, his words simple yet profound.
