*Olivia's pov*
Screams erupt everywhere. Laughs, loud voices. Hopefully, nothing bad happened to my friends. My heart beating fast, I go to the Owl tent. I calm down when I notice William, sitting on his bed nicely, his expression stuck in one of confusion. The moment he sees me, he looks up.
- Did you see Cassandra? I'm trying to understand why we hear those screams everywhere...He asks me, concerned.
- I don't know. The last time I saw her, she told me she had to go to the bathroom.
I pause stare at his face, searching lies or revelations. My heart stops. Audrey. She wanted to hurt Cassandra. Obviously, she chose the worst. Spiders. Cassandra's worst fear. Running on the site, I avoid insects, campers and animals. I direct to the bathrooms, where the screams erupts some more.
- Cassandra? Cassandra? I say out loud, trying to calm her with the sound of my voice.
She doesn't respond. Ignoring the loud noices and the laughter, I open the door. Cassandra is frozen in terror. Spiders are filling the ceiling, the flooring. As soon as she sees me, Cassandra's green eyes meet mine, before she articulated slowly.
- Olivia. Help me. Please.
Her voice is hoarse, and she can't say a single word without hesitating. Tears are flowing down her cheeks. Without a single hesitation, I grab the broom and begin chasing the tarantulas. I watch in astonishement the spiders crawling closer to my friend. My brown hair falling in my eyes, I grab Cassandra's wrist, pull her away from the bathroom and shut the door after us.
- T-Thanks...She mumbles in a shaky voice, staring at her shoes with guilt.
The screams suddenly stop. The laughs as well. Not a single sound at Okitwawa camp.Even the cicadas stopped their happy melody. The birds shift to watch us. There isn't a single sound, and we could hear a fly.
- No problem, all of this mess make me think about you. I'm sorry, I didn't think she would affect you this way. I affirm with contrite.
- She's manipulating us all. Well, that's what she thinks. She's not impressing everyone...Cassandra adds, feeling more confident.
Instinctively, we shift our gazes to Audrey. She's in the middle of the crown with a lofty expression. She doesn't even notice us; she's searching for Cassandra with obvious amusement. I shout at her, and as she sees us, Audrey freezes in terror.
For once in her life, the girl lowers her eyes, noticing the way I helped Cassandra. One thing's for sure, I'm in her black list. She bites her lip and doesn't dare looking up, having all the attention. Negatively, this time.
