Mary-Phoebe keeps on cheering the other teams, clapping her hands, again and again.
Personnally, I'm catching my breath after yelling my life.
I have to admit, Audrey is pretty good is canoe, yet she didn't arrive first. Neither last. Well, she doesn't look so mad either.
I know, falling in her trips would be the last thing to do. For the moment, I'm fixated on what I see and not my logic, because I want to let her have a chance to make me forgive her. Exactly, the group arrives, Eva being last.
- Well, Cassandra, you hurried the Owls to go where I intended to, so good job! Regularly, the majority complains about having their wrists hurt...comments my instructor, amused.
I smile innocently, hearing complains from time to time, mumbled by mostly guys.
- So, Owls, we drop our paddles and we follow me! The after-canoe activity is the exploration of the Blueberry Island! Eva announces.
We all agree, stepping through the forest as she shows us the way. Here, the plants are numerous, covering the trees like emerald covers. There's nothing common with the Okitwawa Camp; here, it's the jungle.
I'm not kidding. Sometimes, I can distinguish monkeys or tricahue parrots yelling as if their life was in danger. I am hypnotized by the colors, the variety of things that I can see. Coconuts, carnivorous plants.
Fortunately, we're on a beaten path, so we're less in danger.
- Guys, who wants to taste the famous Passion Fruit? Because I see one right here! Can we, Eva? A girl of my gang asks in a thick french accent; Maren is her name.
- Of course you can, they're edible...Eva agrees, nodding her head.
As if we were hungry dogs, we all rush to take one. With a weird coincidence, it's the exact number then we are...Odd, but I won't concentrate on that fact...Instead, I bite in the fruit, the mutual enthusiasm gaining me.
Delicious. My eyes roll back and I can't help but devour it some more, enjoying the taste. Slowly, I seek people are my group falling to the group, their eyes shutting down. They begin falling like dominos, and so I stare at the passion fruit, worried, confuse, as I fall to the floor like them all. Boom. I don't remember anything from that point.
