In a bustling city of Bangkok where the sound of hurried footsteps filled the air, Dr. Olivia Kwong known for her outstanding compassion and dedication for being a surgeon, often finds herself immersed in her career that it often leaves little to no room for personal life.

An heir to their hospital business leaves her stress and unable to cope with the never-ending demands.

Coffee.

Coffee is her only escape from reality, the strong aroma of a freshly brewed coffee makes her feel alive and human. Along with the likes of many, drinking coffee every single day allowed her to think and feel like a normal person still.

Capturing her first coffee intake of the day and posting it has been a pastime of her, to say the least she's quite the popular doctor in town and many would be happy to see her update.

After posting, she puts down her phone and focuses on the glory in front of her, coffee. It's her first time in this newly opened café just around the corner of their hospital. She loves it here as not so many people are gathering, means it's quiet, which she also loves.

The café is somewhat her vibe, it's decorated with wall art of her favorite flower, tulips. Every color of tulip can be seen inside the shop, and Olivia, a sucker for tulip finds herself smiling wildly as usual, in which she doesn't do often.

As famous as she is, doctors, nurses, and even staffs finds her alluring beauty both godly and terrifying. The doctor rarely smiles or compliments anybody, you can only see her in the morning two hours before her shift starts, and in the evening after it ended.

Her sister and cousin are the only people you'll see with her outside work hours.

It's not that she's aloof, Olivia is just reserved. Like a person behind a thick wall surrounding her, allowing no one to take a peek inside her true self.

Just right about time she enjoys her coffee, her phone chimes along with a plate of fresh croissant being put down into her table that made Olivia stops and look at the server.

“ You might be mistaken? I didn't order anything aside for my coffee ”

“ Oh it's on the house madame ”

The server smiles at Olivia despite feeling nervous due to the sudden change of emotion from the doctor

“ Thank you, but I can't accept this. You can still give it to another customer ”

Olivia patiently bowed her head not to come out rude.

“ I see madame, I shall take my leave then along with this lonely croissant. ”

The server then took the plate away as to not irritate the woman who's clearly in the verge of it.

As the server leaves, Olivia checks her phone for notification coming from her account. It's her cousin and sister commenting on her recent post, asking where she found such cutesy coffee, but Olivia responded with the word secret as to not let them know of her soon-to-be safe place.

Her well deserve rest was soon to be cut short by a call coming from her assistant, saying she's needed in the OR for an emergency operation. Some teenage got caught up in a hit-and-run accident, with a groan of slight frustration due to her unfinished coffee Olivia replied saying she'll be there as fast as she can, fished her bag and run off the café.

Good thing the café's just around the corner, she got there within five minutes. Thanks to that wonderful coffee who looks good and taste divine, Olivia can now do her job with ease.

A good five hours were spent inside the OR, and Olivia came out looking beautiful but tired. All that coffee just to be tired the moment it gets into her system. She feels nauseous to say the least, the fatigue made her loose balance while on the way to her office, good thing a pair of hands was able to support her before she could even marry the hospital's floor.

“ Ooppss gotcha ”

As soon as Olivia felt a pair of hands grabbing her, she immediately looked up wanting to see the person who dares touch her without permission.

A pair of big hazel brown eyes met Olivia, a woman with her long curly lashes, pink plump lips, fairly pointed nose, and a big smile.

“ Capybara ”

Olivia muttered that made the other girl shock. Can you blame her? She just wanted to help but got compared to a capybara instead.

“ Uhmm can you stand? Are you unwell? I'll let that capybara thing slip this once ”

The girl still holding Olivia asked, shaking her head with a smile as she finds Olivia funny, but soon concern written on her face when Olivia tried to stand but failed. For the second time, she managed to catch her.

“ Thank you, I'm oka- ”

Then everything went black for Olivia
