Ivy stood frozen, her heart racing as the weight of the moment settled in. Her eyes widened as she blinked, struggling to digest what had just happened. The warmth of Taehyung's lips lingered on hers, and her mind spiraled as memories from that night began flooding back-blurry, unclear flashes that sent a wave of panic through her. Had she really kissed him?
Taehyung's gaze was locked on her, his dark eyes burning with a mixture of anger, frustration, and something Ivy couldn't quite place-an unknown desire, intense and overwhelming. His jaw clenched as he stood there, breathing heavily. Ivy's heart stuttered in her chest. She could barely process the emotions swirling between them.
"I... did I kissed you?" Ivy's voice trembled as she spoke, her words barely audible. She stuttered, feeling heat rush to her face, the realization of what she had done crashing over her like a tidal wave. Her hands shook at her sides as she took a step back, trying to ground herself in the chaos of her thoughts.
Taehyung's expression tightened, and he let out a long, frustrated sigh. He ran a hand through his hair, clearly grappling with his emotions. His silence weighed heavily in the air between them. Finally, without saying a word, he turned on his heel, his movements sharp, and began walking away from the empty corridor.
"Taehyung, wait!" Ivy called out, her voice barely louder than a whisper. She couldn't let him leave, not like this. She needed to understand what was happening, what had happened between them. But her feet remained rooted to the ground, too paralyzed to follow after him.
Taehyung didn't stop. He continued walking, his broad shoulders stiff with tension. The sound of his footsteps echoed through the hallway, growing fainter with each step. Ivy watched him disappear around the corner, her heart sinking deeper into her chest. A strange emptiness settled over her, making it hard to breathe.
Alone in the corridor, Ivy's thoughts raced. Why didn't he say anything? She pressed her palms to her temples, trying to piece together the fragments of her memories.
Her cheeks burned with embarrassment, but there was something else underneath it-an undeniable desire which she holds for him.
"Why didn't I stop him?" Ivy whispered to herself, her heart thudding loudly in her chest. She replayed the scene in her head over and over, the feel of his lips against hers, the way his eyes had darkened with something dangerous, something raw. Her legs felt weak, and she leaned against the wall for support.
She closed her eyes, trying to steady herself, but Taehyung's image-his eyes, his touch-was burned into her mind. The unknown desire she had seen in his gaze haunted her, leaving her wondering what would happen the next time their paths crossed.
Her mind spinning with everything that had happened. The kiss-both kisses-kept replaying in her head like a movie she couldn't shut off. She kissed him, and it made sense in her mind. After all, it wasn't that big of a deal. Kissing is nothing, She thought, trying to convince herself. But deep down, she knew there was more to it. There was something about Taehyung that went beyond just a simple kiss.
