Finally, one task out of four done! I can have a breakfast break, at least.
Lana following me, I head to the breakfast counter. I grab a plate of french toasts and fruits, thanking the cook at the same time.
Sitting down on the bench, I glance at my friend who installes herself next to me.
- So, is it this bad? Lana asks me, pushing her red hair away from her eyes spontaneously
- For now. I'm worried for the next tasks though.. I announce, throwing Cassandra a glance
Tasting my french toast, I try to keep my thoughts positive. Yes, we won this challenge, which makes Lana and I's reputation less worse. Our feelings towards Cassandra remain the same, though.
Well, almost. I have to admit she surprised me with those challenges, positively. Maybe she isn't so bad.
- Audrey? Lana calls me, pulling me out of my trance
I blink a few times, nodding my head.
- Yes, yes, I'm fine...I reply
- What do you think about our new challenge? My friend questions me, her emerald gaze watching around the room
I shrug my shoulders, thinking about it; trash picking.
- It will probably look like the first one, but who knows? We'll see. I suggest, looking at her.
- I suppose. Do you feel confident?
I think for a moment about Cassandra's impact on me, then I smile brightly, my eyes shining intently.
- Of course I am. I assure.
