Chapter Twenty: Cassandra's Doubts

*Cassandra's pov*

Walking from one tent to the other, I watch as campers take care of their stuff. Some of them greet me, before going back to their work.

I feel like I'm being respected. Really. Even the younger ones seem to consider me as a kind person. Maybe that's what I am anyways.

I don't know whether it's for Audrey and Lana's consequence, or the chosen rules. I'm not going to complain! Most of all, I'm not someone popular neither adored, but it's great.

Well, I don't want to get worshipped, neither do I want some to get on their knees, but it's great to get respected. You understand that?

As I walk to the Owl tent, I notice Audrey, who waves at me shyly.

- Hey Audrey, how are you doing? I ask her, a gentle smile on my lips.

She seems surprised for a moment, before recovering.

- I'm good, thanks, how about you? She retorts in a voice that's half soft.

I nod my head, my empathy filling me. The challenge were probably so hard! And embarassing, most of all...

- That's great. How do you feel towards the cooking challenge?

- I don't think we'll success, to be honest...She admits, shrugging her shoulders as she looks away, speaking sheepishly.

I giggle, amused by her lack of confidence. Well, honestly, I wouldn't see Audrey as a cook, but she has two chances. Maybe will she success, who knows?

Afterwards, there will be the canoe challenge with two chances again! She'll have two chances to success, and I'll forgive her anyways even though she doesn't meet my requirements.

I noticed that her behaviour has softened, the last days. I hope she's great, as she seems to respect me more; I find this great, yet slightly odd.

Yes, Audrey managed to do both challenges, without second chances. Yet she looked furious when I presented the challenges to do.

Well, it's probably just me, but I feel like she's changing.

Positively? Negatively?
