*Cassandra's pov*
Lana and Audrey did it! I told them to finish three challenges out of four, and that's what they did!
To be honest, I don't know what to think about it. I didn't have an opinion about their success at first.
I feel like the challenges changed the girls' behaviour. Or maybe it's just me. I might be creating things, but honestly, I'd find it great for it to change.
It changed, for now, and I'm noting it positively
Audrey and Lana following me, I walk to the management, my heart pounding in my chest. Sincerely, I feel nervous about speaking to the principal, just like this, naturally.
I have to say I don't have much of a choice. Audrey and Lana have more pressure, has they could be pardoned...or not. In my opinion, they will, and I hope so.
- Miss Remington?
- Come in. She greets us in a firm but soft voice.
Trying to suppress my anxiety, I sit on the bench facing the woman, accompanied by Audrey and Lana.
- I want to speak to you about a certain subject...I begin calmly.
Miss Remington leans back on her chair, replacing her black bangs in her ponytail. Her grey eyes seem to judge me, but right after, she watches around the room, imperturbable.
- Is it about their redemption? It made a drama in the management.
I pause and look at the two girls, who are sitting small on their chairs, looking at nothing in particular.
- Effectively. For their redemption, I thought that they could make it up to the camp by the damage they did to one of your mattress, with four challenges. They successed in three out of four, so I consider that they're ready to get forgiven. What do you think? Do they deserve it?
The principal looks at me slowly, her gaze alterning from me with the girls, before cutting me off politely.
- I have to agree with you, Cassandra. I find your decision clever and thoughtful; I must say i'm impressed....The woman starts.
Conscious that she has more to say, I remain quiet, waiting for the rest.
- Lana, Audrey, you did your cause well and won't have any sanctions., she tells them, meeting their eyes.
- Thank you, Miss Remington...Audrey speaks
- I'm grateful for it...Lana says weakly
I nod my head and leave the room with Audrey and Lana, sending the principal a look of amusement.
