Ash and Pikachu continued to run in the direction where the stick Ash threw had landed. They were excited to finally go wherever they wanted to go. After a little bit of running, Ash and Pikachu stopped to catch their breaths.

"Man, that was quite the sprint huh Pikachu" Ash said between breaths.

"Pikachu" Pikachu said in between breaths.

Ash looked up at the calm blue sky. After his talk with Gary under the tree, Ash decided that his journey to become a Pokemon Master wasn't over yet. He still wanted to meet and befriend Pokemon all over the world. The wind blew as he kept staring at the sky.

'That's right, we've still got a long way to go before I can call myself a true Pokemon Master' Ash thought.

He raised his hand into the sky.

'There's no way I'm gonna give up. Not until it's over!' he thought. He clenched his fist over the sun.

This last thought made Ash think a little more.

"Come to think of it, maybe there is somewhere I want to go first" he said to himself.

"PikaPi?" Pikachu asked as he nudged his leg.

Ash looked down at Pikachu. He got on one knee and rubbed his partner's head.

"Sorry about that buddy, I was just thinking to myself" Ash said with a reassuring smile.

Ash got back up. Pikachu jumped up and secured his spot on Ash's shoulder. They were about to move but sensed something was moving nearby. They looked around but didn't see anything at first.

"Did we just imagine it?" Ash said.

"Pika..." Pikachu responded.

It was silent at first. Suddenly a figure jumped over them. Ash and Pikachu saw it was a Greninja. Said Pokemon landed in front of them. It turned its head to the side and saw Ash and Pikachu looking at it.

"Who...are you?" Ash asked.

The Greninja didn't say anything at first.

"...Koga" it responded in a deep voice.

After that response, the mysterious Greninja ran off again.

"Hey wait!" Ash called out.

Ash and Pikachu ran after it. It was fast, but they could still see it from where they were. After more running the mysterious Greninja turned its head and saw Ash and Pikachu were still following it. It sensed that its partner was close by. After a few more tree branch jumps, the mysterious Greninja touched down.

Ash and Pikachu finally reached it, both even more out of breath than earlier. They looked up and saw it staring at them again.

"Who are you?" Ash asked again.

The mysterious Greninja said nothing.

"Gekkouga? Are you back yet?" A new voice said.

Gekkouga turned around. He nodded his head. Ash and Pikachu looked up and saw a man that looked to be in his late 20s.

He had a lighter skin tone, one Green eye and one Hazel, black rectangular glasses, dark brown curly hair under a black and red hat, black fingerless gloves with Green lines, a black leather jacket with Green highlights, a black shirt with the 64 on it, black pants with X marks on it, a brown belt that extended down his left leg, Green shoes that seemed to be encased in metal looking shoes. He also had a Key Stone hanging down his neck, a Dynamax Band on his right wrist and A Black Z-Power Ring on his left wrist, a Green colored Z-Crystal was in the slot.
