*Jules's pov*
A week later, I start to get over my mother's dead. I feel terribly guilty for not knowing Nora also lost her mother. I feel like a bad boyfriend.
Well, at least, that makes us have something in common! Obviously, that's not positive, but we can understand each other's pain. Alright, let's just not go deeper into depression...
So! Monday morning, and I'm heading to school as usual, my face smile covering my cheeks. Ooh, something I have in common with Nora, cool!
Eh, oops, sorry, what the fuck Jules, let's go on.
My North Face backpack swings with every step, I stare at the morning sun. Every day in school, I must leave early to go to school, since I live far from there.
Tuesday, it's Valentine's Day, but I have no idea what to do for Nora. I can't just pretend I'm prepared and say "Happy Valentine's Day, Nora!" like that! No!
I need something more.... Special! But first, I must go to school, and I don't want to be late. Ignoring the dirty looks girls give me, I head to the gymnasium.
I really don't feel like being in a Physical Education course today, but I guess I must go with the flow. I push back a strand of brown hair that hides my view, as I enter the changing room.

One hour and a half later, I finished the course. Basketball...It was a special course; it was my buddy Edward's birthday, so he had the opportunity to choose what we were going to do. Normally, I like basketball, but let's say today wasn't the best day for that, for me.
Still a bit sweaty, I head to my math class. At least, I'm mentally prepared for the course. Exam! Yay! Um-um, cool- let's get tested to see if we're smart enough!
Anyways, I sit down at my place, unfortunately next to Stephany, Ann-Marie's most loyal friend.
You need a new girlfriend, Jules? She whispers to me as she keeps on smirking like an idiot
No thank you. You need good grades, Steph? Well don't go on with the flirts.
Stephany follows my advice and looks at the teacher, who's passing us papers for the exam. I notice she is giving Stephany serious looks; either she saw her talking or she wants her to do her best.
My Asiatic classmate waits until the teacher gets back to her original place to turn back to me, she rolls her eyes at me and says:
No, silly, Ann-Marie would be glad to get you again! She scoffs
I groan, annoyed. I thought I was clear; first, I have a girlfriend, and second, I hate Ann-Marie! Trying to clear my mind, I shift my attention back to the exam. Biting the tip of my nail- a nervous habit of mine-, I start signing my name on top of the paper.
I look up at the clock. I have about 30 minutes left already, but I just answered 15 out of 30 questions! I sigh and put my pencil down, staring at the question. Hmmm...I hate truth or false questions because the teacher always messes up with the sentences!
I raise up my hand, hoping she would answer me. Most of the time, they can't help but respond "Good job, you can do it!" ...She comes up to me and waits for me to ask my question.
If we say that hypothetically the flour in the question is supposed to be heterogeneous, if we think about the preparation, could it be some sort of chemical recipe?
Indeed, just make sure to check up on the subjects! She responds to me with a smile
Eager to not take all my time with that question, I type in my answer.

I only saw Nora during fourth period, when we had art together. Except that, we didn't really see each other. I suppose this is a good thing because I planned going to a shop for Valentine's Day this evening!
I don't want her to follow me because I want it to be a secret, obviously. I walk in the streets, hoping to find a local seller specialized in those things.
"Barney's chocolates, Valentine's Day specials" Well, I guess that's the best I can find! I push the shop's door, and instead of hearing a little bell, I start hearing love songs.
I hide a chuckle, as I begin searching through the alleys. Hm, I wish I could take that apart and eat all of it! But- of course- it's for Nora.
Noticing a red heart-shaped box which says milk chocolate is in it, I pick it up. Classical, I know. But that's just romantic, and I know Nora LOVES romantic stuff! So, she loves me! Haha just kidding...
I feel someone poke my shoulder, so I turn around and notice a tall man with black hair and hazel eyes, with a smiling face and figure.
Hey, kiddo, you know that if you buy two of those you can get a free teddy for your girlfriend huh.
The man with the nametag "Barney" -who is probably the shop owner- points to me cute teddy bear with a necklace with a heart "I love you."
I shrug my shoulders, indifferent yet curious.
Why not.... I respond him as I went to buy both chocolates with the free teddy, stuffing them in my bag on the way out.
I push the door, happy. Step one done. Gifts bought, now I must find something new. Lost in thought, I don't even realize Ann-Marie waiting for me in the doorway.
Ann-Marie...Looks who the cat brought in...I mumble angrily, not daring to look up at her eyes
My ex-girlfriend giggles and looks at my bag with evident amusement. Her blue eyes narrow some more as she teases me:
You wanted to buy me that for Valentine's Day so you could get back with me, huh? I'm single, babe! She squeals
I scoff and groan with annoyance, as I glare at her.
Don't you dare call me babe ever again! I warn her
Ann-Marie's face darkens as she clenches her fists and looks at me with a frown.
Let me tell you something about your girlfriend.
