The atmosphere in the locker room was charged with adrenaline after the game, the scent of sweat and cologne lingering in the air. Rhea Sharma was bustling around, her focus on another player who needed some assistance. The way she leaned in, her hair cascading over her shoulder, sent a jolt of irritation coursing through Shubman. He could see the way that player looked at her, his eyes lingering a moment too long, a smirk dancing on his lips as he laughed at something Rhea said.
That was all it took. Jealousy ignited within him, boiling over like a pot on the verge of spilling. Shubman clenched his fists, his jaw tight, as he took a step forward, ready to confront the guy.
But before he could make a scene, Rhea caught his eye, her expression shifting from playful to surprised. In that moment, she could see the fire burning behind his calm exterior. Without a word, Shubman crossed the distance between them, his heart pounding with a mix of possessiveness and desire.
"Can I have a word?" he said, his voice low and laced with an edge as he took Rhea's arm and guided her away from the group. She raised an eyebrow, sensing the tension radiating off him.
"What's wrong?" she asked, feigning innocence, but the corner of her mouth twitched as she suppressed a smile.
As soon as they were out of sight, he pinned her against the wall, his body pressing into hers, closing the space between them. "You shouldn't let guys look at you like that," he growled, his breath hot against her cheek.
"Oh? And how should I let them look at me?" she shot back, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
"Like you're mine," he said, his voice dropping an octave as he leaned in closer, their lips almost touching.
Rhea smirked, undeterred by his bravado. "And what makes you think you can claim me like that?"
"Because I'm not sharing," he replied, his gaze locked onto hers, intense and unwavering. The challenge in her eyes only fueled his desire.
In one swift motion, he crashed his lips against hers, the kiss igniting like a spark in a dark room. Her body melted against him, responding to his urgency as he pressed into her, his hands roaming to her waist, pulling her closer.
"Shubman," she gasped against his mouth, a mix of surprise and delight in her tone. "What about that guy?"
"Forget him," he murmured between kisses, trailing his lips down her neck, his hands gripping her hips. "He doesn't know what he's missing."
"Really? And what do you think you're doing right now?" she teased, breathless as he nibbled at her collarbone, his touch igniting fire beneath her skin.
"Proving a point," he said, his voice deep and commanding. "I want you to remember who you belong to."
With a swift motion, he lifted her legs, wrapping them around his waist as he pushed into her, their bodies moving in perfect harmony. The wall behind her was cool against her back, contrasting with the heat radiating from him as he claimed her, their moans mingling in the air.
"Do you feel that?" he whispered, his breath hitching as they found their rhythm. "This is what happens when you let other guys look at you."
"Shubman, I—" she started, but he silenced her with a deep, passionate kiss, their connection consuming them both.
"I don't want to hear it," he growled against her lips, the possessiveness driving him deeper, pushing them both closer to the edge. "Just let go."
"Fine," she gasped, surrendering to the sensations, her fingers tangling in his hair as she pulled him closer. "But you better be ready to prove you're worth it."
He chuckled darkly, the sound reverberating through her. "Oh, I will, Rhea. You won't forget this."
Their bodies moved together, the world outside fading away, leaving only the two of them lost in a haze of passion and desire. As their breaths quickened, and the air filled with the sound of their pleasure, Shubman felt a surge of satisfaction knowing he had claimed her, if only for this moment.
