A Touch Of Pink

One short

I was in the tour bus going school trip.
Normally, I will sit in the window seat, enjoying the view outside and listen to music but today is different.
I decided to sit in the seat beside and not listening to music but I am enjoying every seconds of this moment.
Because in the window seat there's a girl who made every view less prettier and every songs less listenable.
She is talking and smiling at me, that make me forget about anything else.
I am enjoying my favourite view and listening to my favourite sound which is her and her voice.
I don't think nothing will make me happier than this.
We were friends but I always liked her in the way she might not think.
But now I embrace all my courage and ask her...

"Are you straight?"
Well...she didn't answer I think she is stunned by my question.
And again I asked with all my last courage...
"If you are not, can I make a move on you?"
I think she's surprised, if in the pervious moment I will say I'm just kidding but today I didn't.
Now she cut eye contact with me and look away. She was looking at me but now she's looking outside the window.
I thought everything is over now but in the split of second I saw her smile.
Wait why is she smiling am I hallucinations?
I put my hand over her and asked again...

"Can I?"
This time she's smile again but smile wider than last time...
"I don't know..." she said
I said again going a little bit closer to her.
"Can I?"
She hid her face with her other hand and nodded.
Am I dreaming? What the hell is happening!!
And she said
"You have to do your best I'm not accepting you easily."
She smiles not just her but I smile with her I might look stupid but who cares.
I don't know what's happening in the bus while on the way, the only thing I know is our hands are still touching and she's giving me a chance.
We've arrived to our school destination and the teacher said we can go around in the market with our friends.
I asked her...

"Hey, you wanna hang out with me?"
"Maybe if you change your question I might consider it." She said...
I am confused now, what does she mean.
"Huh?" I said
She looks at me and fake the sigh...
And suddenly I think I get what she meant but I don't know my thinking is right. I might just being delulu.
"You mean I should ask you out on a...date?"
"Figure out yourself." She said and she just walked away.
I panicked and run after her.
I grabbed her hand...
"Can you go on a date with me?"
"Hmm...I don't know should I?" She said...
"Please go out with me."
She smiled and held my hand.
"Okay."

We walked around the market holding hand, talking, laughing and eating market foods.
We heard her friends calling her name.
I instantly let go of her hand.
I didn't mean it, I just don't want her friends talking bad about her.
She looks at my eyes and frowned her eyebrows a little.
They talked for a while.
After that her friends asked her to hang out with them.
I thought she will say yes but
"Guys I am sorry but I am with her right now."she said.
I got surprised not gonna lie.
After they left, she turned to me and look at me...
"What's wrong?" She said.
"Nothing" I immediately replied back.
"No something..."
"Hey I am okay"
I cut the conversation and change the subject. I think she noticed that I don't wanna talk about it. She changed the subject too.

"I want to eat strawberry." She said
"Actually I saw a fruit shop back there do you want to go back?" I asked her.
"Really? Umm okay."
Her voice a little bit strange and I found out why after walking with her for a while.
She's walking slower and I think her feet is hurting.
"Hey let's go sit there for a while." I said
After we sat down I asked her...
"Can you wait for here a bit?"
"Why? Where are you going?"
"To get your strawberry, I will go hurry."
She thinks for a few seconds and nodded.
I left her and ran to the fruit shop.
I was buying strawberry and I saw a woman selling flowers.
I go to that woman and buy the only one pink flower that woman has left cause she once told me she likes pink.
I ran back to her again hoping she won't saw the flower, I want to surprise her.
I saw her from afar sitting on that bench.
Her side profile looks so pretty.
While she is enjoying the view here I am enjoying my view.

I walked up to her hiding flower behind my back.
"You're back, did you run you are sweating a lot" She said.
"It's okay I'm not tired"
I gave her the flower I bought.
"Hope you like it." I said
"Oh... I loved it I really love it" She said while smiling at me.
I kneeled down and said.
"Is your feet hurting?"
At first she got surprised cause I kneeled down but then she nodded.
"My left feet hurting, I forgot to bring plaster."
"If you don't mind can I take off your shoes?" I asked.
She nodded.
I saw the scratch she got from her shoes it might hurt its already bleeding a little. I put bandage on her wound.
"How did you get that I didn't see any medical store here?" She asked.
"I went to teacher and get some. Is there anywhere you still hurting? I will put bandage on that." I said.
"Actually yes." She said
I really got worried cause I didn't see any wound other than that
"Where!" I said.
"Come sit beside me." she said.
I don't know why she said me to sit beside her but I do it anyway cause for the record I will do anything she asked for.

"Where's your wound?" I asked.
"It's in my heart." She answered.
"What?"
"You made it, you let go of my hand and cause that wound." She said.
"..."
I didn't know what to answer.
"Do you like me?" She asked.
"Yes, a lot like really a lot. I like you so much."
She smiled and held my hand.
"Okay relax I got that... I know you let go of my hand cause you are thinking for me but if you truly like me I don't want you to do that." She said.
"...I...I don't want people to talk bad bad about you." I said.
"Do you know how much I waited for you to ask me out?" She said.
"Huh?"
I am in shock right now what is she saying.
"I said I won't be easy but guess you are always an exception.....Do you think I will care about other people more than you? If you think like that that's wrong, I don't care how other think I just want to hold your hand and want you to hold my hand bravely....like this."
She said that looking to my eyes and holding my hand.
This is the first time I never afraid of people.
I smiled back at her and hold her hand tighter than ever.
"Thank you..."
"So...are we...dating now?" I asked her.
She looked away like usual and grabbed an strawberry.
"...I don't know you want to eat strawberry?"
She said laughing...
"It's sweet" She said.
And I did the thing I never expected myself to do it.
I went near her lips and bit half of the strawberry she's eating...I don't know strawberry is sweet or not but the touch of her lips is surely sweet.
After the kiss that's not really a kiss we both just laugh nervously.
"So...I guess we're officially...dating?" I said.
She frowned a little.
"No..."She said.
I am literally in shock don't know what to say.
And she came closer to me like so much closer that I can feel her breath near my left side.
She then whisper in my ear and said the most unreal thing.
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
