Missing Piece

Chapter Four

The four of us continue talking and eating, Klaus trying to convince both men to eat as decent human beings or at least try to behave in the presence of a guest. They just excused themselves by saying that they haven't eaten a decent meal in days; I just opted to smile and keep eating, until Diego goes quiet and Luther opens his eyes in disbelief, both of them looking at someone behind me. I feel the seat next to me being pulled back, and someone takes a seat in it. When I turned, I saw Five with a drink in his hand. We made eye contact, and he winked at me—which was unusual for him—before turning his face to his brothers, who simply stared at him.

"Is it me, or am I seeing a grown-up Five?" asked Klaus, still not believing his eyes. Diego and Luther just nod. I roll my eyes and grab a box of noodles and pass it to Five

"Thank you," he reply, I just nod at him

Five opened the box and began eating, with the gaze of his three siblings on him "What's wrong?" Luther decided to ask, "You look happy and... older."

"I am plenty happy. Had a nap and a shvitz. What does a man need?"

"Brothers who don't eat like barn animals?" "A Man Cave?" Now the three of them were looking at Klaus and me as if we had a third head.

"Anyway, you did take a long nap, Five; did you get my note?"

"Yes, I did, and we will talk about it later."

"Wait, V. You were with Five?" Klaus asked

"Well, you see, my dear Klaus, I helped Five become a man."

"Shit! Did you two have sex?!"

"Not yet, but he did see me na–" I could not finish my sentence because Five stuffs my mouth with noodles, I just glare at him and chew on them as he prepares to talk

"No, what she means is that she helped me with the process of aging my body, which I thought was not possible." He takes a sip of his drink before he continues. "So I've been thinking through our little timeline snafu, and I'm pleased to report that, in my professional, expert opinion, we are totally in the clear." I could see the happy reactions from the guys

"Awesome!"

"Great"

"Yeah"

"So everything's totally fine?" Luther ask

I take Five's drink and take a sip of it—damn, its a tequila boom, with more tequila than Sprite—Five see me take a sip and raise an eyebrow I just shrug my shoulders and take another sip he just shakes his head, but let me keep his drink as he continues

"More or less. I mean, there is one small thing. It's nothing we can't manage." He starts to eat, and I just look at him annoyed because he just leaves the thought in the air. Even if it does not relate to me, that was annoying

"Just say it, Five!" I say as I take some of his noodles

"Can you stop taking my stuff!" He said to me, I look at him and shake my head no

"You didn't bring me a drink; also, your noodles are the spicy ones that I like, so stop being an ass about it and share, or... you can feed them to me." I said, opening my mouth, knowing he would just ignore me. Yet again, I am shocked when I feel him placing some noodles in my mouth and he taking a bite as well. I just chewed in shock and I can see his siblings are stunned as well

"That's new," I could hear Luther say, Diego just nod and Klaus just had a smirk on his face

"Anyway, no time for PDA, just spit it out, Boomer!"

"Fine, Diego, it's like this. Dad didn't adopt us as babies, but those babies still existed here." -"Aww!" Klaus and I say at the same time,-"We just grew up in different places with different people."
