Luna pressed herself against the cold stone pillar of the alleyway, her breath shallow and ragged. The shadows cloaked her like a veil, concealing her presence as she peered anxiously down the deserted street. Her heart pounded with both fear and anticipation when she finally saw his figure emerging from the darkness. Relief washed over her as he approached, his footsteps echoing softly against the cobblestones.

The moment he was close enough, she didn't wait. She threw herself into his arms, her fingers gripping the back of his coat as if anchoring herself to him. Their lips met in a heated collision, every ounce of longing and desperation pouring into the kiss. The world around them melted away, and for a few stolen moments, there was only them.

"I missed you," she breathed, her voice trembling against his lips. She leaned into him, inhaling the familiar scent of his cologne mixed with the chill of the night air.

His hand threaded through her hair, tugging her closer as he claimed her lips once more in another slow, intoxicating kiss. "Me too, love. Every second away from you feels like a century."

She wrapped her arms around him tightly, pressing her body against his as if to reassure herself that he was truly there. "How much longer do we have to keep doing this?" she whispered, her voice laced with frustration. "I can't keep sneaking around like this. It's driving me insane."

He pulled back slightly, cupping her face in his hands as he gazed down at her. The moonlight cast a soft glow on his features, but the worry in his eyes was unmistakable. "I know, love. I hate this as much as you do. But things are... complicated right now. Once everything is settled, I promise I'll tell the world about us. I'll shout it from the rooftops if I have to."

She bit her lower lip, eyes searching his. "And when will that be? How long do I have to wait for you to finally be mine?"

He sighed, his gaze dropping for a moment before he looked back at her, a flicker of guilt crossing his face. "It'll take time, love. You know I have to tread carefully with this. But don't worry," he murmured, his voice dropping to a husky whisper as his lips brushed the shell of her ear, "I'll leave her. I'll end it. And when I do, no one will be able to keep us apart."

Luna shivered as his lips trailed down her neck, his tongue flicking out to taste her skin. She tilted her head back, allowing him better access as a soft gasp escaped her. "I just-" she swallowed hard, her voice breaking. "I just want you. Only you. I don't care about the complications, I don't care about the consequences. I just want you by my side, openly. No more hiding."

"I want that too," he murmured against her throat, his breath hot against her sensitive skin. "More than you can imagine. But you have to trust me. Everything I'm doing, I'm doing it for us."

"But she-" Luna began, but he cut her off with another searing kiss, his teeth grazing her bottom lip.

"She won't matter soon," he growled, his voice filled with a dark promise. "Once I get what I need, I'll get rid of her. She'll be nothing but a memory. And then, love, it'll be just you and me."

Her eyes glistened with hope and uncertainty as she pulled back slightly to look at him, her hands resting on his chest. "Swear it," she whispered, searching his gaze. "Swear to me that we'll be together."

"I swear it on everything I hold dear," he vowed, his gaze unwavering. "You're the only one I want, Luna. No one else comes close. Just a little longer, and I'll be free to make you mine forever."

She nodded slowly, letting out a shaky breath. "Okay... I trust you."

"Good girl," he murmured, pressing one last lingering kiss to her lips before leaning down and licking the side of her neck, his hands sliding down to grasp her waist possessively. "Soon, love. Very soon. You'll have all of me."
