Enjoy please, if its bad tell meeeee
You just came to her house and walked inside, you see Vanessa in the kitchen. Vanessa looks up at you.
Vanessa: Madelaine! Hi your finally here! Okay I have to go to work River is sleeping upstairs he should be awake in about 30 minutes.
Madelaine: Okay, perfect, one question actually, isn't Michael supposed to pick him up today?
Vanessa: Well, yes he was suppose to! I tried to call him but he isn't picking up.
Madelaine: oh well, have a great day Ms. Morgan
Vanessa: You too. Thanks again for coming on short notice!
Madelaine: Of course, Rivers an angel
Vanessa: Your so sweet
Vanessa had got a message and looked at her phone.
Vanessa: Okay see you later!
You waved bye as she rushed out the front door. You hear her car drive away. You waited laying around and picking some of Rivers toys up, around the 30 minute mark you started to hear River crying upstairs. You go up there to see what's wrong and slowly enter his nursery.
Madelaine: River, you okay little guy
The little boy sits in his crib crying while clutching his Teddy bear. You slowly walked over towards his crib. The little boy notices you and reached out towards you, wanting to be picked up.
Madelaine: Not very talkative today I see
The boy just let's out a whine and keeps reaching out for you, wanting to be picked up out of the crib. You reach down and pick river out of the crib.
The little boy instantly wraps his arms around your neck, holding onto you tightly, calming down.
Madelaine: Are you hungry?
River nods his head yes, he buries his face in the crook of your neck and his stomach rumbles.
Madelaine: You have to tell me what you want.
River mumbles something into the crook of your neck, it's hard to understand what he's saying, but it sounds like he's saying "milk".
Madelaine: You want milk with pancake?
The little boy's face lights up when you mention pancakes, he nods his head quickly while still clinging onto you. His stomach rumbles again, this time louder than before.
Madelaine: Okay, lets go get you that food before you rumble again.
You started to tickle him a bit on the tummy. The little boy giggles and lets out a small high-pitched shriek as you tickled his tummy. He tries to squirm out of your grip, but he's obviously too little to escape.
River rests his head on your shoulder as you walk out of the nursery and into the kitchen. You set him down on the counter and start to gather the ingredients for pancakes, the little boy watches you with wide eyes, his stomach letting out another loud rumble.
Madelaine: I'm going to get you some food I promise buddy
He continues to watch you as you measure out the ingredients for the pancakes, glancing around impatiently, clearly not used to having to wait so long for his food.
