[KIRAT WROTE THIS!!]
Mabel Pines and Ronnie-Anne Santiago were a power duo in the depths of the local school. Mabel having just moved recently from - in the woman's own words - "A magical land far in America, with my brother, Dipper!", it was a surprise that the two of them formed a tight relationship together in the blink of an eye. Days flew by with shared classes, exchanging of school-brought lunch and, out of Ronnie-Anne's free will, a sleepover, when a week stumbled upon the two of them that was a major intrigue of feelings for the Santiago enthusiast. Also known as Mabel.

It was a new day and a fresh start for the hyper girl. She leaped out of bed at the sight of Waddles, her pet pig. I know, strange, isn't it? Letting her pig jump into her arms with a smile, she cheesily grinned, braces sticking out.
"Good morning, Waddles! I hope you liked it when Ronnie came over last month, because I'm gonna ask her if I can stop for a night at her house! You'll be coming too!" A quick brushing of teeth and changing of clothes made her ready to head off with - guess what? A smile on her face. The woman doesn't even need breakfast, her face is too smiley to shove food into!

No, the day was not interesting at all. Somehow, Mabel's timetable for that day was the most dull you could ever have. Consisting of - in this exact order - Maths, English, Science, P.E, Social Studies and Computing - nobody would have an attitude like she did. What excuse is there? She's got a chronic case of smiley syndrome?

At the front gates of the school, she met Ronnie-Anne's eyes.
"Hey, Ronnie! Why are the gates not open yet?" Mabel went on her tippie toes and back down again, hands clutched together behind her back.
Ronnie-Anne sighed and smiled wearily. Her chaotic family must have woken her up in a hurry once again.
"Not sure, to be honest. Hey, have you got Maths first?" Ronnie-Anne crossed her arms and looked back to face her friend in intrigue, previously looking in a distant nothingness. Her mouth opened up, yet before Mabel had a chance to answer, a dreadful bell rang and all the pupils started to travel off to their homerooms.

Ronnie-Anne smiled a signal for her to leave when a very enthusiastic Mabel muttered, "Hey, Ronnie, can I ask you something before you go?" Ronnie-Anne flashed back to look at Mabel and her red face. The girl in the sweater awkwardly grimaced and blurted, "Do you want to have a sleepover again some time? Maybe at your place? The Casagrandes, was it?" Still awkwardly smiling and awaiting a response, Mabel stood in silence before words uttered out of her peer's mouth.
"Of course. They're not my thing, but.. when I'm with you, anything's fun." She chuckled and trodded off into the distance, Mabel being unable to see her until the breaks in that day.
Those final six words stuck to Mabel's head for the rest of the day. Her best friend thought anything was fun if she was around? Really? It felt like a strange dream, nothing no charismatic boy could pull off. Well, Ronnie-Anne was just someone she looked up to... no more than a boy with flirtatiousness.
