The next morning, Karanveer and Ragini returned home, a sense of bittersweetness hang in the air. They informed everyone about their plan to leave for Mumbai that same evening. While the Gadodias were not entirely happy about Ragini leaving so soon, they understood her need to move forward and agreed to support her decision.

Sharmistha, after hearing the news, quickly informed Swara.

Swara decided to pay a visit along with Sanskar. They arrived at the Gadodia residence a short while later,

"Hey, how are you holding up?" Swara asked, sitting down beside her.

Ragini forced a smile, trying to mask the whirlwind of emotions inside her. "I'm okay, how is the pregnancy treating you?"

"Makes me feel tired almost for everything" and both chuckled

Swara hesitated for a moment, recalling the conversation she had with AP the previous night. She knew she had to broach the topic, not just for Ragini's sake, but for her own peace of mind.

"Badi Maa asked me to speak with you," Swara began, taking a deep breath. "If you had not married Karanveer and Kavya's truth came out, would you have considered giving Laksh another chance?"

Ragini paused, a flicker of uncertainty crossing her face. "I don't know, Swara," she finally replied, her voice barely above a whisper.

"You had loved Laksh once," Swara pressed gently. "Look, I don't want to force you into anything, but Laksh has been regretting a lot. He's changed. I just want to know what you think. Do you see a future with Karanveer? If not, would you give Laksh a chance?"

"Laksh and I are long over, Swara," Ragini said, shaking her head firmly. "We were never really there to begin with."

Swara watched her sister closely, noticing the subtle change in her demeanor as she continued, "With Karanveer..." Ragini smiled, a genuine light brightening her eyes. "There's so much more to learn and experience. I want to be selfish this time."

Swara asked "What do you mean?"

Ragini took a deep breath, her gaze drifting to the window, where the sun cast a warm glow across the room. "The past three months have been so different for both of us. Even in the beginning of our marriage, when we didn't speak much, he made sure I was taken care of in every small way. He ensured I was never uncomfortable and encouraged me in everything I wanted to do."

She paused, the fondness in her voice unmistakable. "For the man he is, I can't help but want to experience all that and more with him. I can't stop myself from wanting to know what life ahead would be like with him."

Swara smiled, feeling a wave of relief wash over her. "Then you need to follow your heart, Ragini. No one can force you into a decision that doesn't feel right for you."

Ragini nodded, her resolve strengthening. "I know. I want to give Karanveer a chance, and I want to see where this journey takes us. I finally feel like I'm ready to embrace what life has to offer."

Unknown to Ragini and Swara, someone had been eavesdropping on their conversation, and they were far from pleased with what they overheard.

The house was quiet after Swara and Sanskar took their leave in the afternoon, and Ragini had gone to her room to pack her suitcase. Meanwhile, Karanveer had stepped out with Shekhar for some last-minute errands.

Upon returning, Karanveer noticed the eerie stillness in the house. He didn't find Ragini where he expected her to be. Concerned, he asked Sharmistha, "Ma, have you seen Ragini?"

"She was here not long ago, probably would have gone with her Dadi," Sharmistha replied,

Karanveer sighed but felt a pang of unease. An hour passed, and when he dialed her number, the ringing echoed from her room—her phone was still in the house. His concern deepened. Without any other option, he anxiously waited for Dadi to return.
