* 2 weeks later*
Vaggie spent her birthday well, i made sure of that. Shes gonna stay at home today and i'm going to school which usually i'd be upset but... not today. When i reached the class my two classmates david and james ran to me. I wave at them "hey guys" they wave back and david exclaimed "yo Nals! I heard about your sister's birthday! Shes 28 right?" I nodded "yea she is.. and HOW did you know about her birthday?" James added "dude, he marks the calender. He thinks shes hot which she is.." i groan and roll my eyes "guys, fuck off.. shes a lesbian." They look annoyed. "We know that... and- oh! Also we were invited to a party tonight! You wanna come?" David asked. I thought for a moment before shaking my head "sorry guys, i can't.. i promised Vaggie that we'd hang out.." james then looked at david then back at me. "Then let her come! Its her birthday month after all..." i thought about it again then wondered "well, who's hosting the party?" David looks down and said "its.. katie" i instantly frown since katie was the MEANEST person in the school and a spoiled brat. "Katie really?" I ask. James nodded "yea, that bitch but she was nice enough to invite us.. so we shouldn't waste it huh?" I roll my eyes again at that "well, i guess youre right.. it might be the only nice thing she's ever done before." They both laugh at that. The school bell rang and we all flinched not really expecting it. I sighed "we should go in before we're in detention" they both nod and walk in with me. As we made it in the hallway one of the football boys winked at me and whistles, i roll my eyes and look away. I was NOT interested. I haven't really fall in love before with anyone. Im not sure if its right but i think im... Asexual? Im not sure.. but rn i was too focused on school.
*after school*
David looks at me and ask "so, you and Vaggie coming to the dance or what?" I shrug "i dunno.. i'll ask her..." james pops in "make sure ya'll do! It'll be fun~" i look at him "bye boys.." i say before i walk off. After a while i started running to the house because i really wanted to tell vaggie about the invitation! I sprint in and yell "VAGGIE!" I throw my bag on the couch next to her. She flinches violently and yelps "Ah! What?!" I take my bag and throw it away and sit next to her. "Ok, so heres the thing, we said we'd hang out today right?" I ask extremely quickly. She nods "yea.. so?" I continue still speaking fast "david and james invited us to a party and told me to bring you because its your birthday month!" I gasp for breath since all that talking was a lot. Vaggie thought about it for a while before nodding "alright, i'll come.."i was dumbfounded "wait...what?" She shrugs "i'll come, we'll still be hanging together..." i get excited and hug her! "GREAT!!!" she hugs me back and smiles.
I shouldve known better
When we reach out the house. We see a bunch of blasting lights and loud music. People were drinking and cheering. Vaggie and i look at each other in confusion but went inside anyways. David saw us and waved "hey girls!" We waved back "hey david! Wheres James?" I asked "he's at the bar counter talking to someone" Vaggie and i nodded. As the music countinued playing she and i walked to a isolated room to get ear muffs. After 2 hours of partying, it was about to turn into 11:00 which was time for us to leave, i decided to get one more drink before we left.
Why did i do that?
After about 5 minutes, i heard Vaggie scream. My heartbeat quickened and i looked for her. Where was she? I couldn't find here.. was she gone? ... WHERE IS MY SISTER!?
I walked around pasting everyone and yelling her name over and over again. No answer... i searched and searched. My heart was racing and my breathing was fast and hard. I felt like i was suffocating.. i had a terrible feeling. I walked out and stopped to calm myself down.. until... i saw something by the garbage bag.. what was it..? I walked closer to it.. what am i looking at? As i got close to it my breathing and heart stopped.
I screamed at the top of my lungs
"VAGGIE!!!!!!!!!!!"
