Arleys pov
It took everything in me not to have a panic attack in front of Carson. I leaned into Aki's chest and relaxing my body to calm my nerves and panic that rose. Aki wrapped his arm around my waist tucking me under his shoulder and kissed the top of my head, a silent gesture of comfort and reasurrance.
"Speaking of the devil," Aki teased, "Mia has seen you staring at Angel here."
I tensed in Aki's arms trying not to go red from embarresment as I hid my face in his shoulder. Aki chuckled and rubbed my back gently to soothe me.
"I see..and what does the Cupcake think?" Carson smirked walking over to the couch and sitting next to Aki.
I blush hiding my face in Aki's chest whining from embarressment while Aki and Carson where chuckling softly at me.
"S-stoppppp" I whine, my cheeks growing redder by the second.
"Okay, okay. We'll stop....for now." Aki teased pinching my waist.
I took a deep breathe and looked up at Aki, "C-can..Carson and I..speak a-alone...please?" I softly whisper. Aki looked down at me with a knowing look and smiled gently. He picked me up and I stood in front of Carson.
"Go ahead, Angel. I will be in the kitchen with the others." Aki smiled and sent a playful glare to Carson which earned him an eyeroll and a scoff from Carson.
Aki left Carson and I alone in the living room and the weight on my shoulders grew heavy as the tension in the air increased. I shifted in my stance and nervously played with my fingers trying to figure out a way to start the conversation without stuttering or shying away.
"Take a deep breath, Cupcake...take your time." Carson whispered gently as he took a step closer to me.
I took a deep breath, letting my nerves calm down. I relaxed mt body and gestured for Carson to join me on the couch. Carson took a seat after me, leaving a comfortable though intimate space between us.
I looked up at Carson and smiled gently, "C-carson..uhm..I..well..yo-"
"Easy there..just calm down. It's just me" he whispered placing a gently hand on him and giving me a comforting squeeze.
"M-mia..she told me..that you have been staring at me." I breathed.
I could feel my body growing hotter by the second, my hands were now sweating as I patiently waited for Carson to answer me. He starred at me with those gorgeous brown eyes of his..the slight lift on the side of his lip as if he wants to smirk...that flawless cheek bones that tighten.
"I have" Carson whispered.
I widen my eyes as my body froze trying to comprehend what he had just said. I couldn't believe it..he admitted it? Just like that? So causally? No. Maybe he saw something on my face..Auggie always finds chocolate ice cream smudged on my cheeks. Yes. It must be that. Right?
"W-why..was there something on my face?" I softly gasp trying to rub my cheeks with a soft groan.
Carson place his hand on mine and interwined our fingers, "Yes..your beauty." Carson sofly smirked before placing a gently kiss on the back of my hand.
I blush adverting my eyes, unable to look at Carson. He placed his hand on my cheek and turned my head to his. Carson placed his forehead on mine and gently whispered, "You are the most beautiful person I have ever seen Arley...you're kind hearted, have a beautiful smile, always caring for others, and you're extremely intelligent. Would...you do me the honour of going on a date with me? Tonight?"
I smiled warmly at Carson, my eyes softening as he speaks gently word to me. His colonge filling my body, the softness of his grip, and his gaze locked on mine. I could only say one word, "Yes" I softly whisper.
