Dad and Henry finally arrived back from the store. We decided today was the day to bring home Angels Doberman puppy, I can't wait to see the look of her face when she sees him. He is absolutely cute with his ears and soft eyes.
Dad walked in with the puppy in his arms while Henry walked in with a grey dog bed , a few toys and puppy food. He placed the items on the floor in front of the couch and began to fill the dog bowls with fresh water and chunks.
Mia and August were preparing something in Angels room..I'm guessing Carson has another surprise for her or something but those two have been up there for hours. I walked over to dad and gently patted the puppy's head and a soft smiled grew on my lips as he looked up at me with puppy eyes.
"He he is perfect, Angel will love him." I smiled at dad and Henry.
"Ah, definitely. She has been asking for a puppy for the longest now." Dad chuckled and Henry huffed in agreement.
My phone dinged alerting me of a message. I took my phone out of my pocket and saw Carson sent me a message letting me know that him and Angel are on their way back from the date. I sent him a quick thumps up and a text letting him know that everything is ready.
"Is that Carson?" Dad questioned placing the puppy in his bed. The puppy curled up and snuggled onto the bed closing his eyes.
"Yes, they are on their way." Dad and Henry nodded before walking into the kitchen to grab and quick drink while I walked up to Angels room to let Mia and August know that Carson is on his way back.
I opened the door and saw that the things had been set up and I smiled warmly. This is going to be the best surprise she has ever had. I can't help but feel a bit sad that Angel is growing up but she is a big girl now..and the most important thing is that she is happy.
"Alright guys, Carson and Angel are on their way back so we need to head downstairs."
Mia and August nodded their heads and began making their way to the living room as I followed behind, we need this moment to go well.
"I really hope Sweetpea enjoyed her date" Mia smiled.
"Carson had better watch his hands or that date or I'm stabbing him." August seethed.
Mia chuckled and nudged his shoulder, "Lighten up you big grump, I'm sure he was the perfect gentleman."
We all gathered in the living room waiting for Carson and Angel to get back from their date. The excitement was overwhelming in the house and we all were on edge to hear about the date. August more than anyone else.
The front door opened and Carson stepped in with Angel behind him. He had a big smirk on his face while Angel looked flushed. Now I really want to know what happened on that date.
"Honeycomb..there's is someone that wants to meet you." Dad spoke softly with a warm smile.
Angel walked further into the living and froze midway as she saw the Doberman puppy sitting on the floor waiting for her. A loud squeal ripped through the house as Angel ran up and hugged the puppy who excitedly began licking her face.
