Mias POV:
'I'm gonna tell you this whilst we're on the airplane so you can't throw yourself off, all of you' Lando's assistant said, looking up from his phone and nudging Lando, waking him up. We were on our way to the Qtar GP and had a long flight ahead of us.'I don't want to hear it, Alex.' Lando yawned.
'Neither do I to be honest, that doesn't sound too promising.' I added.
He looked down at his phone once more. Sighing, as if he was just double checking what it said.
'It's influencer week this week.' He mumbled.
'What?'
'It's. Influencer. Week.' He added.
'Why is that even a named thing?' I asked, my jaw hitting the floor.
Charles squeezed my hand, a word had still not left his mouth.
'It's not, not really. Just, all of the tiktokkers seem to have been invited to Qtar.' He explained.
'I don't want to deal with this.' Max said, putting his headphones in.
'You don't have to. Mia does.' He smiled sarcastically.
'Just because some cringey dancers decide they want to profit off of our sport? No. She's not doing it.' Charles added.
'It's only a few YouTube videos. So many people are going to be there it'll be good for publicity.' Alex argued.
'If they were famous, I'd agree. They've probably got a combined following of 1 million, Alex. Nobody's gonna care.' Lewis responded.
'I'll deal with it.' I mumbled, not even looking up from my laptop.
'I can't think of anything worse than a group of clueless people roaming around track with their camera in my face.' Lando argued.
'Well they've already booked their flights.'
'I don't get a break.' I muttered.
'Yes, you do. I've said you're not doing it.' Charles said sternly.
'It's part of my contract unfortunately.' I responded, opening up a document that Alex had just emailed me.
'What's that?' Lewis asked, leaning in.
'A list. Oh my god please read the list!' George laughed.
I scanned quickly over the list of names infront of me, my eyes getting stuck on the last one. I don't know who's invited her, but I wanted out. Now.
Alexandra
'What?' Lando asked, leaning over my shoulder, he too, noticed the last name.
He looked up at Charles and then back down at the list, passing it over to my brother.
'She's not doing this.' Danny said, finally.
'Im not. At all.' I said firmly.
'I know the one you've noticed, what if I split people into groups, and make sure she's not in yours?' Alex argued.
'If I can pick my group.' I bargained.
He held his hand out and I shook it.
Charles was still staring at the floor, and I finally realised that he knew the whole time.
'You've finally seen what I've seen?' He asked.
I nodded slowly, sitting back in my seat. Putting on my seatbelt as we began to descend.
