Wishing there were more ways to express the things I said
I wish I hated...
I wish I could have said what I wanted instead of holding back.
For what is never meant to be said
I set my shoes aside and picked up scraps and tinfoil pieces from the ground
Tossing them into the trash.

Kaiba sat on my pink bed comfortably
Watching me as I cleaned and organized my things.

"I don't usually like the pretending, but watching you clean like a relentless maniac is not worth it. There are a lot of spaces you need to catch up on. You must have room to fill those gaps" Seto Kaiba

He remarked.

"I don't think I'll fit in" Yuza

I replied.
Expressing myself further on more
Showing my vulnerability in myself with how things are going to get in between

"No matter how hard I try... it's just not easy. It never feels worth it" Yuza

I added, my voice softening.
Kaiba continued to listen
His expression shifting slightly
Eyebrows tilting as his features softened.

"There are things that keep holding me back. Sometimes, it feels like it's impossible.
No matter how hard I try... it always turns out the opposite," Yuza

I confessed feeling a tug inside.
My lips curved into a small weary smile.

"It's never been easy for me" Yuza

I said quietly
Almost as if I were speaking to myself.
I sat down on the bed
Looking out to my window
As there was a butterfly passing by through the colorful pink Sakura flowers

"There's not much I can do...
If only there were a way to change things.
I want to make a difference, but... there's just not a whole lot I can achieve on my own." Yuza

"Why don't you try harder?" Seto Kaiba

I looked over to him as he caught my attention

"Start with what you have right now...
It's the only way you'll truly see what you're capable of. You need to take the direct route if you want to explore other options. I know you're capable of more than this, Yuza," Seto Kaiba

He said, his voice steady but strict
He leaned closer, his gaze piercing.

"If you think something is holding you back, ask yourself: what comes next?
What does moving forward look like for you? What good can come from stagnation?
You need to push beyond what you think is possible. You have to put in the effort to exceed your own expectations." Seto Kaiba

"What if., there's none to expect.. but why" Yuza

I hesitated under my voice
Barely above a whisper.

"If you keep letting your shoulders sag like this, how do you expect to stand tall?" Seto Kaiba

He replied
His tone firm yet carrying an undercurrent of concern.

"If you continue to let yourself down, you're giving that other side the victory. Is that what you want?" Seto Kaiba

He leaned in slightly
Eyes narrowing as he scrutinized her.

"You have potential, Yuza. You can't afford to throw it away. You need to start seeing that strength within yourself. It's not just about fighting; it's about proving to yourself that you're capable of more than you realize." Seto Kaiba

His voice softened a fraction, but..
The intensity remained.

"Don't you want to rise above the doubts? What comes next for you if you don't try?
I know you're stronger than this. Don't let these feelings hold you back. Show them who you really are capable of" Seto Kaiba

Kaiba paused
Allowing his words to sink in
His expression a mix of determination and an almost protective intensity.

"You need to fight for yourself, Yuza. No one else can do it for you. You're the only one who can," Seto Kaiba

He said in his tone with firm and unwavering.

"I don't know... it feels like there's not much I can do," Yuza

"If you keep holding back like this, you're never going to get anywhere," Seto Kaiba

He continued, his gaze steady as he sought to challenge my perspective.
Then, he stood up and extended his arms toward me.

"Come here," Seto Kaiba

He said, his voice firm yet inviting.
I hesitated for a moment
Feeling a swirl of emotions
Before he pulled me up taking my hands in his.
His grip was warm and reassuring,
A stark contrast to the uncertainty swirling inside me.

"Look at me, Yuza. You can't just stand by and let doubt continue to hoist you back," Seto Kaiba

He urged, his eyes locked onto mine.

"You have the strength to change this, but you need to believe it yourself." Seto Kaiba

As I searched his gaze,
I could see the determination in his expression
A reflection of the unwavering resolve he carried within himself.
It was infectious igniting a flicker of hope in my chest.

"I don't know if I can," Yuza

I admitted,
My voice barely above a whisper.

"What if I'm not what it seems to be?" Yuza

Kaiba shook his head
A hint of frustration crossing his features.

"Failure is just another step toward success. You've fought hard to get where you are, and that means something.
If you keep holding yourself back like this, you're not going to get anywhere." Seto Kaiba

His words resonated with me
Each one cutting through the fog of doubt that clouded my mind.
But I still felt the weight of my fears pressing down on me.

"I'm stuck," Yuza

I confessed, my vulnerability surfacing.

"What if I never find a way out?" Yuza

Kaiba's grip tightened slightly
Grounding me as he leaned in closer.

"You're not stuck, Yuza. You just need to fight. No one else can do it but you. You are the only one who can." Seto Kaiba

The intensity of his gaze pushed against the walls
I had built around my heart.

"More than you realize, you hold the key to your own. Don't underestimate your power." Seto Kaiba

"Hmm..." Yuza

I could see the sincerity in his eyes
The belief he had in me that I struggled to find within myself.
It made me feel seen, like I wasn't just a collection of doubts and fears.

"Just try" Seto Kaiba

He presses on as his voice softening slightly.

"You owe it to yourself to the least. What do you have to lose?" Seto Kaiba

Taking a deep breath,
I felt the spark of determination begin to flicker.
Maybe he was right.
Maybe it was time to confront my fears rather than let them consume me.

"I'll try for me" Yuza

I replied back with a steadier voice in tone

"Than.. do it..." Seto Kaiba

Kaiba nodded,
As satisfaction flickering across in his expression.

Feeling a swell of gratitude
I squeezed his hands
Grateful for his unwavering support.
In that moment...
I knew I had someone by my side who believed in me
And.. it gave me the boost to believe in myself too.
It's like living in a memory that never fades
