Astro POV

"It's been a few years since Gardenview shut down. It's been a quiet, peaceful few years, honestly.. Everyone's gotten closer together. Goob and Shrimpo are surprisingly together, Rodger and Teagan got married, me and Dandy are together.. Everything is going great so far."

Narrator POV

Astro wrote in his diary before softly shutting it. As he shut it, he heard a knock at his door and turned around.

"Come in.."

Astro said softly as Dandy opened the door. Astro gently smiled and looked up at him.

"Hey, what ya doing?"

Dandy said as he sat next to Astro on his bed.

"Oh, nothing.. Just.. thinking.."

Astro mumbled with a weak smile. Dandy smiled and gave Astro a soft kiss on the head.

"Hmm.. Well, why don't you come walk around with me? It'd be best if you spend some time out of your room too.."

Dandy said softly as he stood up, reaching his hand out to Astro. Astro smiled back and nodded, taking Dandy's hand and following outside his room. Astro looked around, he's seen these walls over a million times yet something feels so different.. there was no kids running around, no toon handlers and hardly any sound.. it was quite peaceful..

Dandy and Astro made it to the hallway of the toons' rooms, seeing everyone playing around and talking. They sat down at a small table across from each other.

"Y'know.. this feels so.."

"Odd..?"

Astro started before Dandy cut him off.

"Yeah.. I know the feeling.. It took while before I got used to it too.."

Dandy said with a sigh.

"Yeah.. just.. everyday is just another surprise.. First, Goob and Shrimpo somehow got together, Rodger and Teagan are married, Poppy and Boxten are together, and.. then us.."

Astro said softly, blushing a bit after he finished. Dandy's eyes widened for a moment before blinking and looking at Astro with soft, half lidded eyes.

"Well, I'm glad what happened.. happened.. y'know..?"

Dandy said softly as he caressed Astro's hand in his. Astro blushed and looked away.

"S- stop that.."

He muttered, covering his mouth.. There was a moment of awkward silence before it got broken by Shrimpo just yelling because he could.

"NO!! I HATE YOUR FISH FACTS!! I HATE FISH!!!"

Shrimpo yelled at Finn as Goob held him back from literally killing Finn.

"I didn't even make a pun that time! Jeez.. such a buzzkrill.."

Finn said quietly as he inched away. Astro couldn't help but chuckle at this.
