Boom.
We could hear the explosion from the other side of the bridge. The bridge that divides us all. The council tower crumbled to ashes. An expanding black cloud filled the sky.
The blast wave hit us with such force that Caitlyn and I were thrown to the ground. Her scream was the last thing I heard before losing consciousness.
The last thing I saw, however, was Powder diving into the river. Right before the shockwave reached us. That image will stay carved into my memory forever. That smirk on her face while she fled the scene of her crime. That look of hatred she had towards Piltover.
Jinx.
You've jinxed it, once again.
But I don't know if I could ever forgive you for what you've done. Not this time.
