"So, me and your father have been discussing." These conversations never end well. I'm at the dinner table and they've decided it's a good time to put in some input on my life. "You're 22 now." Oh yeah, this is not going to be a good one. "We think you should marry." There it is.

"Why?" I looked up from the table. "Do I have to get married this early?"

"Well, you're getting older. Plus this is your prime. You should be raising kids by now." Can't I have one get together where they aren't on my ass about something?

"I already told you that I'm far too busy for a husband." I smiled. "Work comes first, right dad?" I looked over to see him avoiding the entire conversation.

"Well, yes but your mother is right. You're getting older. You need a man to take care of you." He laughed. "Don't be like that. We'll find you a real nice boy."

"You're kidding." I laughed along. "You can't be serious."

"We already have a list of men. Five different men with backgrounds. It would be your pick." She smiled.

"What if I don't pick any?"

"Then we would pick for you." She grabbed my hand. "We want what's best for you. It's time you marry."

I pulled my hand away as I stood up, grabbing my coat. "Can we have one peaceful dinner?" I sighed. "I'm not being forced into an arranged marriage and that's final." I pushed in my chair, darting towards the door.

"Sweetheart!" I heard my mom scream as she ran after me. "Y/n!" I ignored until she caught me at the door. "Young lady you are getting married and that's final! I expect you back here tomorrow by 3pm."

"This is absurd." I tensed up. "Shouldn't I marry for love?"

"You should be marrying for children!" She scoffed. "Do you think your father and I married for love? Absolutely not. We married to raise you!"

"Might I remind you this is exactly why Emily ran away when she was 14." Emily was my oldest sister who made her escape young. "She's out there somewhere because of both of you."

"Your sister was selfish. She abandoned all of us!" She had a stern tone, one that used to terrify me as a child, but now that I'm 22, it doesn't work anymore.

"She abandoned you! She's still waiting for me." I picked up my bag. "Good luck planning a wedding without the bride. Stamp my name on the paper yourself." I slammed the door, getting in my car. My phone dinged as I got tons of messages from my mom.

You're ruining this family! Me and your father are very disappointed.

You're just like your sister. Forget about choosing, you will marry who I say.

Whether you're here tomorrow or not, this wedding is final.

I rolled my eyes as I threw my phone in the backseat, pulling into my driveway. My parents were stubborn; I had to marry otherwise they are going to forge everything in my name. The only way to get them to stop was to simply get married. Just long enough for them to leave me alone for a while.

I instantly called my secretary and asked her to set up a blind date. I only needed one, I was going to marry whoever sits down at the table with me. I put on my best clothes before heading out the door.

Nothing too fancy, this was purely business related. I sat down at the table as I waited for the man whom I would marry in the next few days. I called over a waiter, ordering a cup of tea before taking out my business card.

"Are you y/n?" I heard a voice behind me as I turned.

"Yes." I was met with a smile as he sat down in front of me. "Card?" I asked. He pulled it out of his coat pocket and handed it across the table. We exchanged glances as I read the card. "Yang Jeongin." I whispered.

"It's nice to meet you Mr.Yang." I nodded as my coffee was sat in front of me. I handed him mine.

"I already know yours." He handed the card back. "I don't need to read it again, you know." His tone was serious and stern, a man of business.

"Of course." I put the card back in my bag. "You will marry me." I ripped it off like a bandaid. "My parents want me to marry, I'm giving them just that."

"Actually, you're marrying me." He sat back in his chair, crossing his legs. "I have no interest in marriage, but if it makes my father happy, I'll do it." He sighed. "I don't want to marry you. I have no interest in you."

"Mutual." I laughed slightly.

"Starting tomorrow you will attend all of my family events and I will attend yours. Here's a contract you must sign that states that you're in this for the next 90 days without any issues." He handed me a paper and a pen.

"Straightforward man, huh?" I grabbed the pen and signed the bottom.

"You will act like you're interested in me around my family and vice versa, but there is no physical contact outside of that, deal?" He took the paper. "I can't have you falling in love with me."

"No issues with that. You're not my type." I scoffed, grabbing my bag. "Oh and I have a family event tomorrow at 3. Here's my address." I handed him a personal card of mine. "Pick me up before then."
