Saving Grace [Inazuma Eleven Ares x OC]

Football Frontier

The day finally came for the Football Frontier.We stood in our lane.A student held our sign at the front.

"Are you sure you're completely fine Yosano san?"Asuto asked behind me, his eyes filled with worry

"It's been weeks since my treatment.I'm fine Asuto"I smiled, patting his hair

"If you ever feel ill, inform us immediately okay?"Hiura said

"Thank you but I think you guys are worrying too much"I replied

"We're just looking out for you is all"Norika chimed in

"And I'm grateful for it..you guys can just treat me normally.I'm okay"I reassured them again

Lately they have a tendency of helping me out on basic everyday things

"Do you need help carrying your bag?"Goujin asked suddenly sneaking behind me

"I can help you up the stairs!"Mansaku said

"Do you need to reach from the high shelf?"Captain asked

"Guys really..I'm fine"I reassured them but every time I did they keep insisting otherwise..

As sweet and thoughtful as it is, it's starting to become irritating..but I know they're only looking out for me..

"The football frontier's national tournament is here at last! Today we will be introducing and holding the swearing in ceremony of all teams participating in the finals!"The commentator said

Eisei Academy was first introduced, there a girl was walking carrying a sign of the name of their school soccer team written on it, they lined up behind her

Next is last year's finalist, Zeus Jr.High.There stood their team captain none other than Afuro Terumi

Behind them is the champion from Hokkaido, Hakuren Jr. High with their impressive players twin brothers, Fubuki Shirou and Fubuki Atsuya who is a perfect balance between offense and defense

"Now entering the stadium is last year's championship school, the Raimon Eleven but while they are last year's champions, this year's team has complete new members!"The commentator said

We were signaled to walk towards the field.It seemed everyone was nervous, they crashed into one another before even entering the field

"Don't limit your movement everyone.."I told them

Every captain from each team took the interview calmly and confidently..well except for ours.Poor captain was shaking and stuttering on screen while talking with the reporter, then Mansaku accidentally put himself on camera

These dorks I swear..I laughed internally

When we finally walked towards our spot, I began to scan the other teams.

"Wait isn't that.."I muttered, seeing a certain red head

"Team captain?!"Norika shouted

"Huh?What are you saying Norika?"Mansaku asked

"We met him when we were on our way to our hangout"I said pointing at the red haired boy at the front of Eisei Academy

He really is team captain..I thought

I saw the other teams entered the field, my attention was caught when I saw a certain red headed girl.She waved towards my direction and I waved in return

"Tatsuya do you know that girl?"Midorikawa asks

"Yes we met along with her friend when I was running errands"I replied

"What's this?..is captain dating girls now?"Nagumo teases

"Shut up Nagumo you know captain isn't like that!"Suzuno shouted

"Well she better be ready when she faces the god strik--"

Hiroto joins the conversation when suddenly the commentator announces another team

I noticed the next team to be introduced was Seishou Academy.Haizaki's team made it as well..

They showed an interview with their team but instead of their team captain it was Haizaki

"Haizaki, I heard you play one specific game, why is that?"asked the woman on screen

"Sorry but I'm outta here"He said leaving his seat

I sweatdrop, not surprised.That's certainly like him..

The next team to enter the stadium was Outei Tsukinomiya.Apparently, no one stood a chance and scored against them.I saw Nosaka leading the front

Last but not the least, is Tonegawa Tousen.The team also entered for the first time.My eyes widenned when the legendary Raimon goalkeeper entered the field, Endou Mamoru.

That's all the teams introduced for the football frontier

Now the real game begins..

Our next opponent will be Zeus Jr.High

We didn't waste time and began practice.We were playing in the field

"Yosano san!"Goujin shouted passing the ball towards me but misses and was sent far away

"What kind of pass was that?"I asked

"Sorry sorry!"

I went to retrieve the ball when there I saw.. Nosaka picking it up and looking at me

"I believe this is yours.."He said, handing me the ball

"What are you doing here Nosaka? Don't you know you're entering enemy territory?"I asked, taking the ball from his hands

"Well this is certainly awkward seeing me here.."He said

"Are you spying on us?"

"Rest assured, I just felt watching your plays.Raimon always play a fair game "He replied

"How's your head by the way?"

"I was just a little dizzy, so you shouldn't treat me like I'm a sick person.I'm perfectly fine right now"

"If you say so.."

"Yosano san!"Goujin called

"Aren't you Outei Tsukinomiya Nosaka Yuuma?Came here to spy on us?!I didn't expect you to stoop so low.Well tough luck!We wouldn't just show our moves willy nilly to our opponents that easily!"He exclaimed.I stood between the two, trying to calm him down

"Goujin stop it!He's not our opponent for the next match!"I shouted holding him back

"What's going on?"Captain arrived just in time

"Captain stop Goujin!"I yelled, he nodded standing between the two and grabbing him by the shoulders

"You wouldn't possibly understand our soccer.We're not simply playing soccer.I never truly liked soccer myself even after watching your team and Haizaki.Soccer is just a means for us to achieve our sublime goal."Nosaka said

"Is this about the scales of ares?"I asked

"Yes.."He answered

"Yosano san!Huh..Nosaka?"Asuto asked, he was accompanied by Anna and Hiura

"This situation is becoming complicated.I'll be taking my leave, see you later Amari chan"He smiled

"Yeah you better run!"Goujin yelled, when captain put a hand in his mouth

"Calm down"He said

The reason he plays soccer is because of the Ares program..so he's connected with Akane..but why play soccer all for the sake of results?...
