Pickup Lines (Ghost)

Kuroo watched as his friend Bokuto stared at Nekoma's new manager, you. It was training camp and as soon as you got off the bus and Bokuto saw you, boy was hooked. He just couldn't stop looking at you, and Kuroo thought it was amusing.

You were completely oblivious to the whole thing. You just carried on with your manager duties. You smiled and laughed with the other managers while doing so.

Kuroo decided it would be his mission to not only tease his friend but also help him out. He believes Bokuto would be a good match for you.

Throughout training camp, Bokuto kept showing off because he was trying to catch your attention. But it seems you didn't notice. That was making him go into emo mode. Akaashi was getting pretty frustrated.

Kuroo decided to put his plan into action. He walked up to Bokuto and teased him some. Of course, that got Bokuto going.

Kuroo laughs, "Ok Bokuto. How about I help you out?"

Bokuto looks at him wide-eyed, "Really?"

"Yeah. I am, after all, an amazing friend."

Bokuto snorts.

Kuroo narrows his eyes, "Hey. I am."

"Ok Kuroo. How do I get baby owl to notice me?"

"You already have a nickname for her?"

"So."

"Ok. Gees. You start with using pick-up lines. Girls like that kind of thing."

"Really?"

"Yeah. So go try it out."

Bokuto nodded and marched over to you. Kuroo was trailing behind. He wanted to see how this would go.

You turn to him and smile. He freezes and just stares.

You giggle, "Do you need something, Bokuto?"

That shakes him out of his state.

He smiles, "Hey. Hey. Hey. If you were a fruit , would you be an apple?"

You give him a confused look.

Kuroo fast palmed, "No Bokuto. You're supposed to say fineapple."

Bokuto looks at him, "But that's not a real fruit."

You giggle. You finally caught on to what was happening. Bokuto was trying to flirt with you. Although he was getting the pickup lines wrong, it was kind of cute. You did like him, but didn't think there was a shot for you. You didn't have the best confidence. But here he was trying. It melted your heart.

Kuroo shakes his head, "Try another one owl."

Bokuto nods and turns back to you. You give him a smile and wait patiently.

Bokuto smiles, "If you were words on a page, you would be a book."

Kuroo sighs, "It's supposed to be you would be fine print."

Bokuto scratches his head, "No. That can't be it."

Kuroo grumbles, "Try one more. But this time, get it right."

Bokuto glares, then looks back at you, "You want a raisin?"

You are even more confused, "No?"

Bokuto smirks, "I don't like raisins."

Kuroo throws his hands up in frustration, "No. You're supposed to say, "How about a date?""

"Why would she want a date? Those are gross, too."

You burst into laughter. This triggers Kuroo to laugh while poor Bokuto stands there all confused.

You smile at Bokuto, "I understand. You're cute. Let's talk after everything is done."

You get up on your tiptoes and kiss his cheek, then set off.

Bokuto stills. He places his hand on the spot where you kissed.

Kuroo says in surprise, "That actually worked?"

Bokuto starts jumping around, "She likes me. She likes me. She likes me."

Kuroo chuckles, "Maybe I should try it that way sometime. Good job, owl."

For the rest of the day, Bokuto was on fire. He was so pumped that he couldn't lose."

After everything, you two met up. He confessed, and you accepted. It was the best relationship you could have ever asked for.
